    A deal to Houston would pair Anthony with his long time friend, Chris Paul, as well as his former Olympic teammate James Harden. Late last month, Harden and Anthony attended fashion week in Paris. It was there where Harden began actively recruiting Anthony to Houston knowing that the Rockets were on the verge of acquiring Paul from the Los Angeles Clippers.

    Soon afterward, Anthony, who is under contract for two more years, informed the Knicks that he would waive his no trade clause to play for the Rockets.

    The extensions signed last year weren't commitments though. They were trading one year of free agency for a MASSIVE increase in pay. The super max is when you are committing to your team.

    But even in that, it's not much of a "pride in yourself" thing when you take a super max that no one else can offer. That said, yes, Westbrook has embraced OKC and Harden has embraced Houston.

    It's amazing to me that we live in an era where the best player of this generation will have willingly switched teams 3 times in his prime to form super teams with different casts of characters, leaving behind the guys he brought together at each previous stop.

    But you would be taking on a bad contract in either if those scenarios. Getting rid of a bad contract to take on a bad contract. There isn't going to be a 2 or 3 team trade because It would be just a juggling act of bad contracts

    If Ryan Anderson didn't have a bad contract or if he was worth that contract, Rockets wouldn't be trying hard at a 4 team trade.

    We are initiating that trade with a bad contract and shuffling them around until we find landing spots for all bad contracts.

    So yes, it is a very much problem to move Ryan's contract if you want something of value because 4 team trade is a pain in the ass as has been said.

    Good! For some reason in the past I thought he hated playing PF, but it looks like he played more PF than SF last season on the Knicks so I was just wrong. Having Melo, Ariza, and Tucker at the 3-4 would be amazing.
