Shumpert and Douglas combined tonight: 47 min. 6-21 shooting 15pts, 5 assists, 6 TO, 8 PF And they didn't play Lin. Knicks lost by 10 points.
MD said he has no intention of ever using Lin, regardless of how well he plays....so my guess he will be waived before Feb 10th, so his contract does not stick
This is Flynn's line from 6+ mins of garbage time tonight. FG 0-2, 3P 0-1, FT 2-2, 1TO, 1 Steal, 2 points Even in garbage time not every PG can produce  Safe to say Lin > Flynn, and I feel deserve's a shot.
I agree but Flynn is on a guaranteed contract (expiring asset) so didn't make sense to cut him. Regardless, not like Lin would get playing time here.
D'Antoni is beyond dumb. Shumpert and Bibby combined for 4-13 shooting, scoring 11 pts, 2 assists and 3 TO. And Lin still DNP.
I don't know if it's because he knew the Rockets but 20 min tonight which is 3X more than his previous season high. Granted he got blocked on a fast break and had some awful turnovers, but 9p 6a ain't bad, 6a = game high lol. Lin is a scrub but it's not like NY has a bunch of great PGs, I mean Toney Douglas 3/13 shooting 7p 4a in 28 min, Bibby 0p 0a, Shupert 3/11 FG. Unless Baron Davis magically comes to the rescue, Lin will probably get other looks as the season progresses. But PG is not the only problem NY has, I mean when Lin tried to get his teammates involved, they all stood there like statues and Renaldo Balkman was shooting 3 pointers left and right. Anyway, at least Lin clearly outplayed Flynn when both were on the floor.
