Yes he is the only player with a big contract in NBA history to get paid while being injured.

Morey would get a good laugh out of this. He probably has a laugh-wall in his office, where he posts all of these idiotic writers articles who think they can predict what moves he would make.

LOL out of all teams the knicks are the only ones. LOLOL what a joke. Who on the Knicks can basically help contribute. The Rockets need a finisher!!!! no one on the knicks would be considered a finisher..

Trading away our best playmaker for whom??? I love offseason rumors!!! :D I'll believe it once it goes down. Until then stop dreaming.

I am not complaining he got injured. I just say himself and his followers shouldn't complain the fact of being traded either.

He worked hard here for the first 4 years, and he got the MAX money. He even got the bonus: max money for last season and the coming season. The rockets don't owe him. They can trade him for what they want.

I think the only reason Rockets would consider moving TMAC for 2 part expiring contracts (even w/o the 8th pick) would be because its easier to package $10 mil + Brooks / Landry rather than $21 mil (TMAC) + Brooks / Landry.

Basically you look at it like this: If you consider TMAC solely as an expiring contract, then wouldnt you agree that if we could break his contract down in 2 pieces, it'd be easier to trade? And then you package a Brooks or a Landry, and now you're proposing a nice expiring contract, plus a nice young player. You give that sort of ammo to Morey...... ;)

I agree with everything you said accept the gap between Amare and Scola. But when it comes down to basketball IQ, Scola is on another planet compared to Amare.

Lee could start in Houston. He had the second most double doubles in the NBA last year. He averaged 4 more ppg and 3 more rpg than Scola did last year and he's three years younger than Scola.

if he was included in a package that had their 8th pick as well I'd be alright with it

the whole idea of curry + hughes for McGrady is an atrocious deal

If it's NY's expiring for ours, their is likely the #8 pick included there, which writer is missing:

Hughes, Mobley + #8 pick for Tmac, makes some sense, just Hughes and Mobley makes no sense.

That makes sense which I thought of, BUT we can't trade what we receive in a trade for 3 months, so there would likely have to be a 3 way trade going down.

t-mac would epic fail in an up and down environment. JVG tried to get him to run and Rick Adelman tried to get him to run and they both failed.

T-mac's idea of a fast break is him dribbling up to the 3 pt line and jacking up a 3 with no offensive rebounders under the rim...

That has nothing to do with my statement. You called a blog post about a rumor a "news post." That's wrong.

I think Amare is better than Scola, I don't think he is a better fit with all his baggage, big contract, injury history, and histrionics...

I would prefer to put the money we would have to pay Amare into a WING player.

    Nothing more than that..

If he is mentally and physically ready to play through the entire season,I would keep him over these potential trade scenarios.

it is a legit website, a legit reporter/writer. I believe they get paid to write this stuff and if it was false, they would get sued.

Therefore it's a 'news post'. These people work for the news media.

Anyways, you know why people are voting it low, its because they don't like the message. this has nothing to do with your 'oh there another thread about this' theory.
