balkman is player, I'm watching him right now in a knicks summer league game. Isiah maybe a terrible gm, but he has a good draft pick record. going back to his toronto days, where he actually laid a pretty good foundation. but mcgrady bolted and and vince quit, although vince wasn't his pick. but this balkman dude plays great on the ball defense, and passing lanes, and he gets on the break and can really finish. for a guy who's not a good shooter, he has pretty good feel for the game.
Drafting/scouting college & HS players is the one area Zeke does well. If I were an NBA owner I'd love to have him in charge of my scouting dept. He does seem to have a gift of selecting players that can succeed at the NBA level.
