They only way another team takes a negative value player is if the team trying to unload him offers picks/other assets. As the Knicks have none of these, they are stuck with him.

I could see him going to the Warriors. He fits in with those a-holes.

Hardly matters what they do anymore. Knicks championship window closed last season.

Yep. He's the kind of guy who you bring in to a team with an established and dominant culture (Spurs,Heat, KG era Celtics etc.) on a minimium contract and HOPE it works out.

Not the type of guy on a contract like the one he's on.

JR Smith was born to play alongside Javale McGee. Send him back to Denver!

If only the Knicks could trade with themselves, he would be the exact type of player and contract they would happily give up an unprotected first and young promising player for.

Please let him go to the Pistons. I would LOVE to see JR Smith, Josh Smith and Brandon Jennings all on the same team. That would be amazing. Of course, it would be better still if the Pistons would then trade Drummond for either Javale McGee or Andrew Bynum. They could complete the team by swapping Greg Monroe for Matt Barnes.

    PG- Brandon Jennings
    SG- JR Smith
    SF- Matt Barnes
    PF- Josh Smith
C- Javale McGee or Andrew Bynum

That, ladies and gentlemen, is my All-Knucklehead All Star team.

JR Smith needs to be in Colorado. That would end well for everyone involved :)
