This was an old article from yesterday that was updated this morning. They are the only ones saying it isn't going to happen and everyone else is on the TMAC to Knicks/Bulls train.

That is why Morey should deal with the Bulls, to diminish NY chances of landing 2 max free agents. Unless NY plays nice.
Hill also has a first-round guaranteed contract for at least two more years, right? I also guessing that Hill is not a Morey-ball player. Even if he is part of the deal, he is not part of the Rox future plans and will be flipped asap.
I personally think this is just posturing as well.. same with the Bulls deal. It offers us little in terms of young talent
Just because he got picked too highly doesn't mean he will be a bust. Bogut was picked over the likes of CP3 and Deron WIlliams, does this mean the Bucks screwed themselves up? Hell Naw! In fact since they managed to draft Jennings this year you could say they have a better upside than New Orleans, which is capped out and looking like a lottery team even with the best pg in the league. In the same way, you shouldn't care where Hill was picked or who was picked after him. The fact doesn't change that he's just a rookie, 22 years old, and has good length and athleticism. He may or may not develop, but I would like to point out that he started playing bball late in life, and in only a few years of college he was able to develop a semblance of a jump shot to go with his athleticism. I don't think D'Antoni is the developing coach at all, I'd like to see what Adelman and his staff can do for Hill, considering what they did for Dorsey before and after this season.
I brought this up yesterday or so, if the rockets took jeffries and curry off their hands, could they get the swap of picks and the extra pick in 2012? So then i pose the question as i did yesterday, would it be worth it to have curry and jeffries and the swap of picks in 2011 and 2012?
Morey would be banking that a change of team and coaching staff would elevate him to star level...BIG RISK
and that $2M would be included in cap space for the knicks to get to 2 max contracts. that's why this makes no sense that they dont want to trade him. hill may nt be in the rockets future plans but he can be packaged with out late lotto pick to move up in the draft.
Picks are the key man... For Houston to get moving in the right direction with bulding their team through the trade market, picks are very key for them.
its only an extra 3 mill so i don't see what the big deal is... except jeffries can still play, curry is 10 mill on the bench. if the rockets took curry, they get unprotected 2012, swap in 2011, hill, 2010 second round pick, and some sort of future compensation, maybe even toney douglas.
From my understanding, Houston tried to get Douglas.... Walsh has made it clear that Douglas is off the market.
Who cares about Hill. I hope Morey mans up and INSISTS on Gallinari instead of Hill. Then we could even forget about all the draft picks. Gallinari, Harrington, Jeffries, for Tmac & fillers. Gallinari would be a piece we could actually use and be part of our CORE. One of the best up and coming shooters in the league and he's only 21! He would be deadly next year getting all those open 3s when Yao comes back!
I believe the Rockets can get those picks without Curry. That just eats into the capspace to much. Yes they are both expiring, but to have what 18 million between two players who may not even crack the rotation is not smart imho
What I'm saying anod longtime fan and i had this discussion yesterday about curry. If ny came back and said if you take curry and jeffries we will swap 2011 positions and give you the 2012 pick, is that enough to take that deal?
