Knicks could lose Jeremy Lin if they get "Asiked"

    As logical as this may sound, players in professional sports have left over significantly less...er...significant cash differences in the past.

    He didn't score 38, 28, and hit a game winner because he was good, he just got lucky. What an overrated cash cow. :rolleyes:
    The dude also averages a TON of assists a game, and looks for his teammates.

    I'm guessing Yao was ALSO an overrated cash cow?

    the knicks don't care about the luxury tax, or the roster salaries.

    if they are allowed to match an offer, they will.

    I don't understand this frenzy for Lin. I mean, he's an above-average PG but he has yet to be proven in a full season and post-season. I wouldn't pay him over $5 million until he's got a few years of real NBA action under his belt.

    Neither Lowry, Asik or Dragic has proven it over a full season either, but contracts are awarded on glimpses or projections of what they will do over the lifetime of the contrat = in other words, potential.
