He couldn't even make a sample post entry pass, smart player make things look easy, he make things complicated.

So if Robin Lopez signs his 10-12 mill with the knicks, does this mean we most likely keep Patrick for the qualifying offer and make him an unrestricted fa for next summer?

Sarcasm? Delly's the better shooter, and neither can do anything else on offense. On defense, they play a similar unsustainable pressure style.

Delly has a slightly better 3 point shooting%(on much less attempts per game) but he's not the better shooter overall. Dude shot 30% on his 2 point attempts this year. Everywhere else including free throws Bev is better.

He has the worst PER of all NBA players who played at least 20 minutes last season at 8.56.

Other than one good game in the final, he's been horrible on most of the games.

Harden has been openly calling for a playmaker. So yeah I'd say they need him to be a better playmaker. Especially with the new contract he's gonna get. Do you really think harden is referring to any other position?

And I didn't say his assists have increased every year becuse that would be a lie. Know your stats.

I'm pretty sure nobody is expecting Bev to magically become a playmaker if he is retained. The goal has always been to add a secondary playmaker, whether he stays or goes. What do you think the Llull chase was about?

(His assists did increase this season, FWIW.)

Losing bev will hurt us big time unless we can find a guy like conley to replace him. Do not underestimate losing the key components to last year's success. This was the downfall of the Rockets in the 90's. Filling one hole but creating another one

You don't think LMA is all sound and fury and that the NYK interest in Patrick Beverly and their also-interest in Corey Brewer might indicate some sort of Carmelo Anthony trade, and Phil uses his cap space on other free agents....

No, no. Nothing. Back to LMA.

Bev was injured for a decent portion of the season, and it's pretty obvious his defense regressed. Let's not make more of him than he is. I like him, but he was the right guy in the right role. Relative to his peers, he's one of the worst 5 starting PGs in the league.

I think Bev was hurt most of the time he played this past year. He never looked good in the games he played. He looked worse. The only game he played well was the last one when he messed up his wrist. We need to let him go.

After signing natthews, if DeAndre choses Dallas, they would have no space to overpay Beverley and Knicks would be our only potential rival.

Yep, one of those things will get Rondo, the other would become a potential rival. Still are left other interesting pieces ahead of Beverley on the market. Tobias Harris, David West, Cory Joseph, Enes Kanter, ......or Josh Smith and Corey Brewer :/
