No way in hell we do that. Gerald Wallace can't shoot and we'd be giving WAY too much with Brooks. Kyle Lowry is one of my favorites, but he doesn't have the tools to start on this team. Teams would sag off him to smother Yao, in which they can't do with Brooks on the court. What's the benefit of losing Brooks for a brick layer in Wallace?

Man I don't think the Knicks are that desperate. They lose all of their young talent and contributors from last season, what's the point in that?

So when CP3 becomes a free agent they can afford to sign him and put him alongside 2 other superstars?

im so sick of this. look, heres what i know ,1 month ago lala got on a NY radio show and said the knicks are the only team an extension for carmelo

thats why i betted my testicles he will be a knick. i keep my testicles.

anthony randolph> iggy (maybe not yet,but ill take a smaller contract, more skilled,5 years younger player ANYDAY)

    finally someone with a clue.

the knicks WANT to give up salary ie ar/gallo in order to sign paul

    paul might want s&t though.

i still think the rockets are in this.

caa doesnt want lebron losing to a amare/paul/melo knicks team

i think melo goes to rockets or even wizards (remember baltimore is close to wizards and melo from b-more)

caa doesnt want carmelo on knicks otherwise it would have been done by now

i think carmelo is going to cave to pressure from his agents and go to another team because carmelo to me, looks like someone with no balls. Lala pushes him around and so i think he is a puss.

melo wants the knicks, but i think agents control more than we know and i think melo wants out of denver so bad he will eventually cave and do what caa wants

    kinda like a brainwashing.

if he was TRUELY serious about joining knicks..he would just tweet right now "im signing with knicks next summer" but he wont do it...either he is a puss for being fined for tampering or not sure where he wants to go.

thats why i dont want him. rather have randolph. ar is from dallas, trains in texas, and would be a natural fit over the drama lala

Wallace is a lot more than a brick layer. You basically listed his one major flaw, cuz he has great hustle and all around game minus shooting. definitely give up brooks for him

Nuggets, Sixers Discussing Melo For Iguodala

The Nuggets are talking to the Sixers about a trade to send Carmelo Anthony to Philadelphia in exchange for Andre Iguodala, a Western Conference executive told the Philadelphia Daily News.

The Sixers were not on the list of teams that Anthony was interested in when he requested a trade in advance of his free agency next summer.

1 year rental for sixers keeps them competitive while shedding iggy's contract. pretty much what dumars did in detroit when he traded billups for iverson. appears to be a competitive move on the surface, but it's really a move to get under the cap.

If that's what Doug Collins and the Sixers are aiming at then this is THE deal.
