Okay, you implied that I did. I should have said that I didn't.

    I completely disagree with this.

Morey has a proven track record of patience and rational behavior. Conversely the Knicks have a track record of rash and erratic behavior.

Morey can walk and chew gum at the same time. The Knicks are stumbling around still trying to get the wrapper opened.

The Knicks may delay and delay to avoid negative press about the trade but they will eventually panic and settle for something since Melo has now essentially narrowed his list to Houston and only Houston. Scott Perry is allegedly close with members of Melo's camp, it would be of great benefit to him to not ruin those ties and begin his tenure in the biggest media market with a disgruntled star fiasco on his hands during the season.

    Nothing new but whatev...

    Al Iannazzone, Newsday:

I firmly believe it'll be somewhere else. I still say he's going to Houston. I know there's been a lot of talk about the Knicks pulling back & wanting to talk to Melo about his future. He wants to go to Houston. I firmly believe that. He wants out of New York. They're rebuilding. He wants to play for a contender. He spent most of this past season with Phil Jackson publicly & privately trying to get him to waive his NTC. Now that he's agreed (for Cleveland & Houston), I see no turning back. I don't think he'll be back with the Knicks. I think he'll end up in Houston.

The plan is to go forward without him.

He's committed right now to going to Houston & playing with Chris Paul. I don't think Cleveland gets into the mix unless he's bought out. Steve Mills said he would not buy him out but of course he would say that. They want something back for their best player. That's why they don't rule out keeping him.

Right now, the holdup has been that the Knicks & Rockets were having difficulty finding a team to take Ryan Anderson. They're gonna keep trying. Even though they said stop, this is a pause. They're pausing & will regroup. I firmly believe something will start up again. Steve Mills said there is no timetable. Of course not. We're still 2 1/2 months from training camp. Nothing needs to happen yet. They have to explore everything.

He's not gonna be here. He's gonna be with the Rockets at some point. They just gotta work out a deal.

By the time something happens, Carmelo will be using a walker.

I think one of the stumbling blocks is the Rockets not knowing if Carmelo can fill Motiejunas' shoes

A proposed trade from a Knicks fan...

Umm...yeah. They are forgetting Melo doesn't want to play for Knicks anymore, so his price is very low right now.

That trade proposal is just absurd, can't believe someone would still be that delusional about Melo's trade value.

That trade is incredibly lopsided, I think if he adds James Harden then it should be fair.

I could be wrong, but here is what I see regarding Isola. Most NY hacks are a positive mouth piece for the Knicks. Isola has no problem calling out the Knicks for their stupidity and inability to run a successful organization. So I'm sure this rubs people the wrong way. Is it true when he writes or tweets these things? I don't have to live in NYC or be a Knicks fan to see that most of it is absolutely true.

Unless Clutch says don't post his stuff, I don't see why it should be a problem. To me, he knows plenty enough.

According to Marc Berman, Knicks have not reengaged The Rockets.

    Lol Noah signed a 4 year 72m deal compared to Anderson's 4/80.

I mean yeah that trade is delusional but not because of the value; more because Houston wouldn't gut their depth in a trade for Melo cuz that would be a step back. It's not like some of our posters aren't delusional, thinking the Knicks are better off takin a bad contract on 3 years than letting this go on.
Yes Melo's value has gone down, but not to the point where he is worth trading for bad contracts just to get him off the team.

Yay. Berman (NYPost, not Fox) will retweet that same story every two hours throughout the day. That story you are referencing is the same story from yesterday that he posted. He just keeps retweeting it.

He re-titles the tweet every time to get clicks but it's the same article every time.
