Exactly, I used to hate Charles Barkley so much. He used to trash Houston to interviewers so bad when he was with Phoenix, then he got traded to the Rockets and all was forgiven when he yanked down 33 rebounds in the first game. Dude had an unbelievable ability to go get rebounds.
NY is just putting that out there so the rockets or any other team involved will throw in some other pieces. SaS also said Dwight Howard would NEVER go to Houston.
Got us past Seattle.. that's gotta be something. I guess I should have finished my changing my mind story: Then he got on TNT and I don't like him anymore. The End.
I'm not saying there weren't reasons we didn't get those players like Pau and Amare. I'm just saying Carmelo wants to come here and we know that he's in control on the Knicks end because of his clause. So if we don't get him, its obviously a fault on our end (Rockets), which is a problem And I don't post because I don't like arguing Just don't want to see this Carmelo thing fall through when it could make the difference between a ring for this team and no ring
might want to check your history on some of these guys. lol cp3 coming here because of harden. you mean players don't go to teams for a GM? no way
1. Melo cannot force the Knicks to accept a package they don't want. 2. If we don't get him, it likely means Morey was unwilling to gut the rotation just to end up with a team that is worse than the one we have today.
Yet your first post in these 8 years of not wanting to argue is one of the oldest and most divisive anti-Morey narratives on the board. But you don't like to argue #Team Bi-UID
No, it's obviously the Knicks fault because they won't accept that they're not in control and should get their house in order by trading away the guy they tried to push out last year. I.. also.. don't like to argue. That's why I've only posted 13,000 times and not 100,000 like DD. DG
Morey is only willing to pay a certain price for Melo, and so far, that price is Ryno and some irrelevant pieces/possibly a pick Melo is no longer at the level where we can afford to just send out multiple starters for him. The Cavs and Clippers had the same mindset. The Clippers were and the Cavs are offering up garbage for Melo. His value is very low. NY is holding out for a good offer, but they are the ones who created this limited market by giving Melo a NTC. Melo does not fit what they've stated they're trying to build. It has been reported that they don't envision a scenario where Melo and Hardaway Jr. are sharing the floor. They want to lower the amount of drama and dysfunction in the organization that has clearly had an effect on Kristaps. At some point u just have to cut your losses.
