I've watched every game so far and its simply our guys bricking open looks I've seen guys open who just flat out miss shots Ariza, Brickin Brewer, Thornton Bev, Terry all get open shots their just not making them ...Im more concerned defensively and our rebounding is horrific i think KJ can really hope with both of those areas
Not saying he's some savior but i believe his effort and defensive abilities could only benefit the Rox

Very nice post, Holic. I hadn't thought to check Brewer's stats in that way. Gotta admit it's hard to get past how poorly he's been shooting so far this season to look at anything else the guy's doing. We all know he's a streak shooter. Get on a streak, Brew! Damn, do we need it.

This right here let's us all know that the coaches have no idea what they are doing. Sending them down only to call them right back up. He should never have been sent in the 1st place.

Are you ignorant? He picked up game play down there. This is the common thing the Rockets do with rookie contract players who aren't in the rotation. They send them down there to play and then when it's a home game or there's a break in the dleague schedule, they bring them back to TC to be with the team.

So you'd rather have him just sit on the bench rather than have him play some games in the D-league where he can keep up his in-game conditioning and work on certain parts of his game?

As a coach you find a way to get him in the game. Ariza, Brewer and Lawson
have not been playing well, yet they keep throwing them in so why not? He needs to be in the rotation for his defense alone. Why send one of your better defenders, on a defensively weak team, to the D-league?
What games have you clowns been watching?

I knew they were going to bring him right back up because he never should have been sent down.
As a matter of fact we were all surprised that he had not been playing .

Dude, we went through an entire training camp. He did not EARN a spot in the rotation. Yes, these guys are playing badly, agreed. And there should be a short string on them. But....to say or think McDaniels should have been in the rotation before now....he hasn't shown anything besides being a poor shooter and a turnover machine. He shot 33% from the field and 24% from 3 in preseason. There has been no reason, up until this injury spate, to even consider playing him. Because he hasn't earned any time.

Now, I'm just as anxious to see him as anybody. I've stated multiple times I want to see him defend up top. But....he hasn't earned it. And there has been no reason to play him up until now. And the only reason he may get a look now is because we're dinged.

You don't think Ariza and others being injured has anything to do with it? They just felt like sending him down and saying "oopsie.... WRONG MCDANIELS!" and bringing him back up?

Is there are worse player in the league than Corey Brewer right now?

Let KJ play. Can't possibly be worse.

Recalled only to be a DNP - Coaches decision.
    Really! What's the point!

Opens up a spot on active roster? Still have an open spot on the roster without sending KJ back down here. Plus he was not giving the PT needed to get going.

Howard out tonight. DMo should be active and might get some burn. Why else would you activate DMo if there is no chance DMo plays tonight? Why not just leave McDaniels with us just in case?

I think this is pointing to the possibility that DMo may see the floor tonight. Sure hope so.

No. KJ still counts as being on the 15 man Roster.
