I think RGV is overrated. Maybe RGV helped Capela, but DMo and TJones dominated down there from the get go. Just because a player spends time down there and then does well in the NBA doesn't mean RGV contributed that much to their development.

KJ looks more relaxed and less frantic in the D-League. This might just be what he needs an extended time there to develop. His drives and blocks are a given. What counts is his outside shooting and his one on one defense on the perimeter not just an occasional steal or block..
I would imagine it is because Brewer is a veteran, and KJ is seen as the long term replacement. We obviously made a mistake keeping Brewer, but to contend you really need vets in the squad and on the court.
Agree with this. He does seem more relaxed and in rhythm. But it's just been what, 2 games? However, if he maintains this flow, especially offensively...he could become a difference maker for us later this season.
yeah...his decision making is quicker and he's more aggressive. Confidence is all there. I'm surprised this play hasn't received more attention... <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">OH MY KJ MCDANIELS!!! <a href="https://twitter.com/KJMcDaniels">@KJMcDaniels</a> <a href="https://t.co/w4zhrDz5po">pic.twitter.com/w4zhrDz5po</a></p>— Rockets Design (@geraldyu14) <a href="https://twitter.com/geraldyu14/status/665343641204846592">November 14, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Can't tell you until I see Brewer play in the D-League. The list of Rockets players that look like all-time greats in the D-League but are mediocre or average in the NBA is rather long.
He should stay with RGV, needs to play with a good team and winners. Sending him down to those Rockets scrubs could seriously harm his development and mentality.

Knowing McHale, naw. He'd probably be pretty useful against a super athletic Celtics squad tonight, but I doubt he even sees the court.
instantly showed he doesn't belong there as predicted. this should be an opportunity to get some minutes soon and hopefully he takes advantage of it
I knew my boy KJ was beasty but DAM.....No way he shouldn't be in the rotation...You tellin me that brewer is a better option???? His shot is not as bad as people say he has good form and follow thru he has been working on it obviously..... mcfail is an idiot for not giving him a shot while brewer is bricking 3's and layups with his goofy as expressions after he makes an idiotic play..
