The fact that he responded with "i didn't even say it" tells you what he's working with upstairs...he probably didn't even understand what he was retweeting.

The article did not support the murder of innocent police officers. Your job is safe.

That she felt that way "right after coming out of church" should set off some alarm bells. That sort of mentality doesn't just happen in mosques.

martyr (/ˈmärdər/): a person who is killed because of their religious or other beliefs.

I don't think she knows what martyr means.

If you rationalize it enough maybe you can twist it to say that

But if you really think KJ wasn't supporting that thought

I really don't know what to say to you

As far as my job, there is no doubt I would be gone if I retweeted what he did

But I do appreciate your support

It's not rationalizing. The article just reported what the woman said. It didn't support the woman's views or posts, it just reported that she made the video. AL.com is a popular news website for all things Alabama, and I believe the official website for the Huntsville Times. There is no way they would write an article supporting the lady's video.

Maybe I give too much benefit of the doubt. Maybe I know a lot of people are upset and not sure how to put their emotion into words. Maybe I understand that the woman obviously did not use the word 'martyr' in the right context so probably didn't mean it like we read it. Maybe I just think that if we listen, truly listen, to each other with the intent to understand each other's pain we won't be so quick to throw stones. Or maybe I have too much hope in humanity.

    Honestly

What do you think KJs emotions were about when he sent the retweet

Cause that is what this conversation is really about, his views not hers

Maybe I'm crazy, but I think his views are pretty clear. Especially after his obviously angry tweet about those opposing his retweet

    Wow.

    Not the greatest career decision.

The only shooting he should be thinking about is his OWN shooting. Of basketballs.

What a dumb thing to say no matter what you believe. You really have to question if this guy is disabled

Since you asked, I think that KJ felt that the tragedy in Dallas brought more attention to the previous shootings by law enforcement. He felt that now more politicians and elected officials have to say something about it.

    You disagree?

who would have thought in 2016 we would take a massive step backwards in terms of racial issues in this country.

    pretty sad.

    Yes I do disagree

I think he saw someone spouting off about this cop killer being a "martyr" and he said Preach On

If he felt like you say, his rebuttal tweet would have very likely been more than a "STFU" people tweet

    But believe what you want

Honestly, a guy like that is probably too stupid to keep around, especially when he isn't very good at basketball anyway. His ass needs to go away now.
