I never really understood why everyone was so high on him in the first place. Didn't Morey jump through a couple hopes just to sign him in the first place?

Watch, in 3 years we will look back and say, "why did we trade him?". KJ will be DeMarre Carrol or Livingston watch.. always happens to the Rockets.

 

A few of his dunks were cool. I watched him in a game in the cozy confines of RGV Vipers arena in which he completely failed to distinguish himself among the D-Leaguers. Fortunately Montrez was down also and was completely feasting on the D-Leaguers.

I will miss the garbage time chase down blocks in transition.

I had unrealistic expectations. I was disappointed he never became a top notch team defender. Then we could have waited a little longer for him to develop a 3 pt shot.

 

There was praise for him before. He has a lot of potential and Morey saw it too, but if the coach won't play you then it's time to move on. He has the work ethic so he will be fine.
