Yeah, I’m conflicted about this as well. I like him as a prospect, would like to watch him continue to develop, but have absolutely no idea what an extension should look like.

He's a guy that takes a long time to develop but he can be a really great role player down the line. I think he will be able to guard the PF position, switch well, cut well to the basket and hit open 3pters.

His defense still needs time though. Has to be very good at team defense (especially switching) to be a rotation player on a contender. Otherwise he's just another Kenneth Faried - lots of flash, no material impact.

If he continues to hit the 3 he’ll be a valuable player… particularly playing off Sengun.

Wasn’t that his Dad? I never saw a story where KMJ actually said he wanted out.

Trade Tate and give KMJ a Tate deal.

Martin has been pretty decent this year. He sparked a lot of our runs with his play

I'm happy KJ Martin is open to an extension. Dude is extremely athletic and knows his role in the NBA (3nD with roll ability). He isnt highly valued by other teams so Rox most likely will be able to lock him for cheap.

He is a solid bench player with a above average ceiling. Should be paid accordingly

What moneta range you thinking that should be? Tate-ish type or more?

3 or 4 years at around 11 million sounds about right. 4 year 44 million

    im indifferent...

i dont have him in the future plans... but if we can extend him and his contract is positive asset - then fine...

but dont give him anything more than it would cost a srp to move - as a worst case scenario...

I don't know if I am just completely detached from reality but I was thinking closer to David Nwaba money.

All g, I was thinking around the same being in 9-10 per year range, especially if he maintains a consistent 3ball

The idea is extending him made no sense to me at the beginning of the season, but he’s been pretty spectacular the last few games.

I can see where you coming from, but giving his youth and being a better distance shooter than Nwaba he will probably start at at least 8 mill per yr.

He's shooting what? 30% from 3? I don't know, man. That's what David Nwaba shot last year.
