KJ Martin reportedly drawing interest on trade market https://rockets.clutchfans.net/12498/kj-martin-drawing-trade-interest/
KJ has shown potential. That being said, for the right package, I'm willing to do it. Second round pick not inspiring though.
Hard disagree on Tate. Not only is he not better than KJ at the things that matter to a SF, Tate is probably better being the backup 1 (if we have to play him at all) since TyTy and Nix suck. Give me an above the rim athletic SF that can shoot over a 6'4 unathletic PF that can't shoot who thinks he is Draymond Green.
I think Eric Gordon is staying until the deadline; then we’ll see. The team has shown little indication that they are ready to move him. I agree they need to consider packaging KJ with another asset or two to get a more impactful asset then a 2nd rounder. Maybe package Garuba, KJ, Favors, and a 2nd rounder for something worthwhile; 1st rounder or a good player on a good contract.
I'd rather have him than Tate but if he can supplement more draft bodies in diffrenet years its worth it.
Do any of these teams have a young PG who is close in talent level compared to KJ? If so I would do the deal.
Spoiled kid who has himself above the team. Has shown it several times when all the bench was going insane with some nice play and he was sitting there with a shitface.
