People are saying it. Is it true? I don't know, could be. Who knows? But people are saying it, so there's probably something to it.

He look bad. Only points from a goal tending call. Good players don't get that bad.

Seems like his confidence is shot. He certainly isn't doing anything in garbage time to earn minutes.

Dude blows and has absolutely no vision. Just a Rucker Park chucker in an NBA jersey.

You could see in the offseason that he bought into the team campaign, posting promo shots on his social media, etc. Yes all players do it but its to say he saw himself as part of what was happening.

Then he balled out in the preseason maybe even was the 3rd best player, his nearest competition had the worst preseason in Rockets history. Then he still got bypassed for minutes. Then he even got yelled at after and is left out. Its got to be a letdown. I'd be upset too honestly that superior performance didn't get merit

He hasn't been mature enough to handle it though. Gotta pout for about a week or 2 then let it go. He's trying too hard when he should just be professional and do what coach tells him.

Maybe KJ is well aware that he will be traded soon and had no reason to bust his ass for our benefit. Might have even been told not to go pull a hammy or you'll be stuck with us.

I loved how he was playing at the beginning of the year, ran the floor really well and really seemed to fit D'Antoni's offense. I wonder what happened?

He doesn't play because his defense is bad, when will you guys realize that this is the real reason he doesn't play.

He does decent on offense if he shares the court with harden (who doesn't?) but his on ball and off ball defense was terrible.

I just don't think the guy is a good basketball player. I think the only skill he has is shotblocking which is not that useful as a sg.

His athletism should get him one more contract but he's really got to improve his defense if he wants to carve out a 8-10 year run in the NBA, because offensively he will never be anything more than a fast break finisher.

Corey brewer is a lot better than KJ some of you act like it's a crime that brew plays more.

Brew hate is unwarranted go check out others teams 9-10th best rotation player and theirs most likely similar if not worse than Corey. You can do much worse than brew playing 10-15 min a night.

KJ is a trade pawn.... he knows it...... OK contract with upside... plus he is young...... he is the prime def of a trade filler!... FORSURE will be included in any decent size deal!

The guy is Terrence Williams 2.0. Actually, TWill had way more potential as a passer, defender, and rebounder; he just never knew how to become a professional. Damn shame.

KJ has no bball IQ. He didn't even have it in college, he was just an amazing athlete. He can't pass and can't shoot. Putback dunks are nice, but amazing raw physical tools will only get you so far in the NBA. As a third year NBA guard you should know how to either pass, shoot, or play hard. Maybe he can be a nice energetic defensive player elsewhere.

I agree, it's like his playing time disappeared overnight. My hunch is that he had/has a issue with Brewer. He probably called him a scrub in practice in front of everyone. Obviously that's conduct detrimental to the team, so he ended getting put in the dog house.
