watching that stro video really made me think, wow,

we gave up a pretty good cheap energetic backup power forward plus a gay guy for bat man.

i know stro isnt the sharpest tool in the shed, but he could definitely throw it down with some power, which made me stand up everytime he did so.

I hope Synder can bring consistent energy to the team something which Stro didn't do unfortunately. I haven't seen him play apart from the highlights.
Can he create his own shot, drive with the ball to the hoop, develop into a decent 3 point shooter?
Is he a low IQ player like Stro or is struggling because because of lack of discipline? Does he seem like a person who isn't interested in improving?
All these questions will be answered as we go along but I think CD did the right thing by picking him up without giving up a player because he is cheap, young and athletic. We didn't have a choice.

I hadn't looked at m_cable's analysis on him at the GARM FAQ section which answered most of the questions that I had. I wouldn't have posted about Snyder here otherwise.

I find it freaking funny as heck that Stro wanted out of Memphis so bad and he gave us a sh/tty work ethic here and thought he could get the payday and get by on our team by only his "potential" without giving as much heart and work as everyother player on our team so we sent him packing back to the one place he wanted out of

Goodjob Rockets Management, funniest move i've seen in a long time, and to you Stro! Thanks for giving out your heart for our team night in and night out.. oh nevermind.. I hope this is a message to anyother player that signs with us expecting to get by soley on potential while not willing to give any heart or to work really hard to improve every facet of their game. Because players like that deserve not to put on our Uni

Almost every player busted their butts last season to improve, even the old vets, it was disappointed to constantly see Stro have passes bounce off his hands on a regular basis out of bounds and for him to smile and shrug it off. It was disappointing to see him rotate off the wrong guy on a regular basis and smile and shrug it off, it was disappointing to see him make one highlight reel dunk a night and disappear and smile thinking he got his paychecks worth that night when we lost by 20 points.

Have fun in Memphis stro, glad to have you out of our uniform leaving a space for someone who is possibly unlike you in ethic and just like you in ability

OMG, that video makes me want Swift back.
He owned Dampier with one of those dunks, and also made a buzzer beater from past half court.
Damn, I still feel sorry for him getting traded no matter what everyone says.

Highlight vids can make the worst players look like all-stars... as long as they can dunk. Says very little to nothing about skill/potential.

That wasn't a buzzer beater. It went in but it didn't beat the buzzer. Very lucky shot though

The more important thing about Snyder's dunking is that 10% of his shots were dunks, and he made 93.5 % of his dunks. None of the Rockets perimeter guys from last year dunked nearly as often as Snyder. Even TMac only dunked on 3% of his shots at a 93.3% rate (but that wasn't the full capacity TMac... not the one we saw in the playoffs or even the last regualr season)/

Dunking is a good thing not for show, but for the fact that it's usually a high % shot. Snyder's ability to get those high % finishes will be a welcomed change over Alston, Bogans, and co. missing layups.

Stro's dunking wasn't his problem.. he dunks often (17% of the time) tries some hard ones and still makes a decent 85% of them.. His problems lie in other aspects of his game (like rebounding).

Stro's problem is when a guy with his talent and athletic ability loafs up the floor with that "oh dur" look in his eyes and Brad Miller blows past him for the transition layup.

Absolutely r****ded.

I'd be willing to bet he's hanging out in da hood all summer rolling around in his rims with all the homeys and honeys. He puts nothing into his game.

watching that swift video just makes me sick that he has so much potential, but it is all a waste.

Its sad when you can fit just about every good play of his last year in one 5 min. clip.
