You could be right. This could have been the latest in a number of irrational things Snyder could have been involved in. Let's see what comes out. He seemed to have a "difficult" personality and maybe the symptoms kept getting worse, especially since basketball wasn't keeping him busy.

He just finished as the regular season scoring champ in the CBA. Don't know what happened to him.

He was instrumental on defending Wade in one of the Rox games under JVG. He was quick enough to stay with Wade and yet strong enough not to be overpowered. I was hoping Adelman playing him against Heat when Wade was torching us.

What a loser. Another guy who had all the talent in the world but just didnt want to work hard.

Kirk Snyder. Wasnt he a top 10 pick? Now he's robbing his neighbors.

He was the Von Wafer (only worse offensively and much better defensively) of...2006 if I remember correctly? Meaning a fan favorite who as an underdog earned himself a spot in the rotation and was an important contributor. Until he broke his hand. Sadly, JVG never gave him a chance to get back in the rotation after he had healed.

He's like Luther Head - his career got progressively worse. And he was solid in Minny, don't know why nobody picked him up. This story makes me sad.

I used to live a few minutes away from this area, in Mason, Ohio.

    Whoa boy.

This doesn't compare to good ol' Sam Mack getting arrested with enough drugs for every person in AMerica in his trunk.

    Former Rockets these days.... :p

He didn't rob the guy, just whooped his ass. For all we now, that neighbor might have done something to Snyder that caused this. Maybe he found out that dude is cheating on his wife with Snyder's wife. It could be anything. I'll wait to hear more details before I pass judgment. It just sucks when a negative story breaks out, whether its a celeb or regular joe, most people have already made up their mind about that person regardless of how much real information is known about the situation. That person could be 100 % innocent but to some people, all it takes is a headline to make that person 100% guilty.

There's a lot one can criticize Snyder for, but it's your points don't make any sense. It's like you read the headline and put him in some stereo type and didn't read another word of this thread.

    Loser? Sure why not.
But didn't want to work hard? I don't remember that. I remember he made stupid on court decisions and he didn't improve the way Bryon Scott wanted him too, but he was a part of the "everybody must have work ethic" JVG team. He couldn't shoot...that was the biggest problem.
Robbing his neighbors? Um, that's not correct. He did something crazy and obviously criminal and wrong and of course, crazy, but don't say he robbed his neighbor.

I'm just against spreading lies and misinformation. Feel free to fill me in if I made a wrong statement, but don't spread lies because it's the first thought that popped into your mind. Read the whole thread first, then post.

And there are numerous top 10 picks that don't pan out. IMO, I don't think Snyder is the poster child for wasted talent (see: Curry, Eddy or Griffin, Eddie).

I don't know. If he's just trying to even the score, why would he put a hood on his head to hide his identity?

If you break into someone's home and assault them because they're having an affair with your wife, you are not 100% innocent.
