Bulls would be salary dumping around $20 million.

With his contract and from our recent amount of guards (Francis,James,Brooks,Alston) I would say no to this because he isn't exactly what we need. We need a big size guard who can finish going to the basket strong.

I think hes exactly what we need. We have a big sized guard who can finish going to the basket.... hes just currently being a p***y. IMO Hinrich is a better shooter, decision maker and defender than our current starting PG. He has also shown he can still be useful when moved to the SG spot which helps for Brooks.

I would love Hinrich on the team. How we would go about getting him is another matter. 2-team, 3-team trade? Cut ties with T-slack? Battier/Rafer for Hinrich/Sefalosha?

The team seems high on Brooks. Besides, he's on a rookie contract, and we need players to build on. Brooks for 24 mpg at the 1 (although he's more of a midget 2), and Hinrich playing 24 mpg at 1 and, say, 10 mpg at 2.

Would Chicago want Tmac? We've already seen him run roughshod over Adelman; how would he treat Del Negro, on a team with less postseason promise than Houston? Because obviously that's how Tmac is playing it. Take it easy now, turn it on in the playoffs, unless Yao goes out like last year, and then he's forced to turn up the heat---or is that "heart"?

Personally I would love to get Hinrich in here. He is a more reliable outside shooter than Alston and better behind the arc. With Yao Ming in the post I think there is a chance that he would see a good increase in his field goal percentage as well as his asssists per game. Hinrich seems to be suited for a half court game which is what the Rockets run.

Having said that I don't think the Rockets would make a move for him.
    1. He removes salery flexibility and Les is always salery conscious.
    2. The Rockets have "battered wife syndrome" with Rafer, They have been let done so many times by him and yet he has done just enough to make losing him too uncomfortable.
    3. Can Hinrich take charge on a floor with TMac, Alston and Yao? Brooks has problems with it, which is why Rafer is still starting.

As I said, I would do it in a heart beat but Les will not even think of it.

I'd do the deal especially if McGrady is included. The guy can go shoot 2 for 10 for the Bulls and skip every other game for them.

If this deal were to happen, it would be a wet dream come true.

To be perfectly honest if Adelman's the coach there's no need for the bench. They'll only get what, 20 minutes combined? Hayes is good enough to get minutes every game, and he's barely sniffed the court. Same with our supposed backup Center Dorsey, who has like what, 2 mins of playing time os far? Let's just trade away our depth and get a superstar 6 man lineup together. Then let's just sign Dleaguers and Cranky old vets as our backup. Dalembert's on the block as well. Why don't we trade everyone except our big 3 and get them both? Heinrich, Tmac, Dalambert, Yao Ming and Ron Artest with Barry and Deke as backup...now THAT's a roster Adelman will love
