yeah if he was indeed there and of course requested it to be private etc, the school is obligated to not make it public. Even though a leak may happen one way or another likely. but as far as anyone working directly for the school they put their job at risk if they are found to be the leak directly

Also, it's not true that Kinkaid is a benefit concert for sexual minorities.

For private schools, confidentiality is everything... particularly schools that deal with celebrity clients.

If it was a regular school day, the lack of photos would be alarming. But it's a private campus (I know because I was turned away today at the security booth) in the summer, and the vast majority of people there are staffers. Not kids. If a photo goes viral, it wouldn't be hard at all for the school to know who took it based on the location.

I don't have a personal Kinkaid contact, but I've heard from multiple people I trust who do that he was there. Combine that with the knowledge that LeBron Jr. has a tournament in Houston on Sunday and Monday, and the logistics make sense. (That said, even if it's true, I don't think it proves anything other than that Houston is an option. I'm sure he's doing his due diligence on schools, real estate, etc. in other locations as well.)

True, but there's a difference between saying we can't comment on that and saying it's false. But I absolutely concede that the school could be lying and nobody who saw LeBron thought to take a photo.

Privacy and confidentiality is pretty much the entire business model.

I could see a kid making a mistake and taking a cell phone photo, but with it being summer, the vast majority of folks there are staff. They have way too much to lose to try something like that.

Assuming your sources sources are legitimate (not saying they aren’t) I think your take is the most reasonable. Due diligence because he happened to be in town anyway.

Laypeople were probably too preoccupied checking their britches for incidentals to grab their phones.

Right, I think that's the most plausible explanation. He's in town anyway, HOU is clearly an option for him, so no harm in getting more information.

What a disaster it would be for this place if they didn't keep their clientele's information private? They had absolutely NO choice but to lie if it is true that LBJ was there today.

Maybe it was another Rick Ross sighting, instead.

Really there ain’t no telling, I hope our team improves but I would rather it not be with Lebron. Just too much drama and bs surrounding him abd I don’t think he’s that good of a teammate but then again harden isn’t the greatest either
