Kings (Webber) lose 1st game...chances are growing...

Yeah, it was all Webber's fault. It certainly didn't help that his supporting cast played like crap.

Calling him a loser is patently ridiculous. The man took a team that year-in, year-out stunk and made them a contender.

Well, I guess it comes down to would you rather have a shot at a lottery pick, or be first round and out every single year? The latter is what Webber has been his entire career. Will Francis have this bad of a playoff record? Hopefully not.

Depends on what you mean by "choking", I guess, but Webber's numbers in Points, Rebounds, and FG% are all down in the playoffs compared to his career numbers, and his TOs are up.

Yes, but he shot 12/32 and had 7 TOs, and most importantly, his team lost. This isn't his first playoff game either.

I'm not about to call Webber a "loser", but the man has never made it out of the first round of the playoffs, and doesn't step his game up in the post-season. He's having the best year he'll ever have, IMO, and we're talking about breaking the bank for the guy (even though I don't see him coming here). I'd welcome him with open arms, but I don't really understand the fascination. Now watch him explode and carry Sac to the Finals...
