Depends, I wouldn't be against keeping Scola, although I'd much rather have Josh Smith.

Wish Lowry finds a home in Toronto and Martin in GS. and Rockets finds pick 7 & 8.

if this happens rockets can have 3 lottery picks. 7, 8 & 12.

While I wouldn't be too upset with that, I'd rather see Patterson, Martin and Lowry moved. But before the season starts is fine with me.

In that case I'm definitely on board to trade him. ;)

So you'd keep an older player in Scola who is a worse defender than Patterson, and just about even rebounder at this stage of his career(who also makes more money)

    YEA RIGHT

If Morey is smart he trades Luis Scola and keeps Patterson

People here rag on Patterson's rebounding, but Luis Scola's rebounding rate has dropped BIG TIME over the past couple of years

By losing Lowry and Scola, you cripple your ability to put the ball in the hole. Unless you get a bonafide scorer, you have to hold onto Scola to play that role. Problem with Scola is that he can't beat a double team.

Now if you want to rebuild, trade Scola/Lowry and suck for a year or 2 until you draft or sign your wing/post scorer.

Well I think D-Mo can replace Scola just fine. His post skills may not be at Scola's level yet, but he is solid

Works for me, but you lose all hope of a 2nd top 10 pick.

I honestly don't think any other trades are going to happen until draft starts. If a team's player is not there, that's when the phones start ringing... so for those of you hitting F5, give your fingers a rest =)

I would be slightly ok with building around Evans and Drummond. Other trades would have to be made though

you can't build around evans. but would love to see what maury can do with him as an asset. Probably flip evans for a lotto pick next year. =)
