will they be so mad at Peja that they will trade him for Cat+MoT? That will be good. I guess I am dreaming.

so because Webber came back and Peja was no longer the sole focus... he should drop his bundle and stop shooting poorly.... damn i love this guy but he officially disappears in the playoffs

Even when they played like crap, the Kings still had a chance to tie or win the game at the end. But wow, they messed up a lot of the chances they had. Webber missed a layup in POINT BLANK range, dang. I thought he supposedly had "great" hands. I guess once a choker, always a choker.

Kings definately had their chances. Tough luck for Webber on that 3... it was a great shot that did everything but go in. It's kinda symbolic of his past chokings in the clutch.

I too wanted Minnesota to win for the simple reason that they'd give the Lakers a better fight. Sczerbiak is back and getting better, and the Wolves are loaded with weapons, but the one thing they have right now is the MVP of the freakin league. Anytime you have the MVP, and he is PLAYING like an MVP like Garnett is doing now, you stand a fighting shot to win. I still think Lakers will take the series, but if Garnett carries the team on his shoulders like he did today, then you never know.

Minnesota's BIG Three + Wally World
score almost as many points as the Kings
[Hassell's 4 pts is why they won :D]

Next year whether it is with TMAC or FRANCIS
the need for a consistant 1st, 2nd AND 3rd option
    will be the key . . .

Great game...I wish they wouldn't have made it so close, but...

Anyway, It shouldn't have come down to Webber's shot...

Man, Ticket impressed me. I really though I called it when I was watching that 3rd quarter run by the Kings, but Garnett played like a man possessed. MVP indeed.

    Webber just plain looked sad.

Bleh; Webber's not the reason we lost... our alleged "MVP candidate" is.

Yeah. Webber was getting to the rim. He was playing well. And that last shot wasn't a choke. That was bad luck. The layup, well, he did miss that. But up to that point he was solid. Peja on the other hand completely dissappeared. It was like he wasn't even on the court.

Webber in his interview after the game pretty much seemed to say Peja is not "a gamer".

I wonder if the Kings might try Peja + a little something (BJ, pick, prospect?) for McGrady or soemthing like that.

Peja is the 1 King with a lot of trade value where they might be able to get a more formible playoff mix of players. Of course maybe McGrady would make them worse given the offense they run, but if I were them, I'd see the current Kings team is not going to get it done and roll the dice.

The Maloofs do make their moves to win, even if they have not got it done I like how they run that team.

If Webber doesn't stay, and if they decide to trade Peja, they'll have to change the whole style of the team. They don't have a dominant player. Everybody is a role player and everybody has a role. They win by great passing and shooting. Webber is a great passer. Peja is a great shooter. If they both are gone, they might go for some dominant player like McGrady and forget about the pass and shoot style.
