cost him multiyear deals for sure...but 10 mil is nothing to scoff at...regardless of antics. One more point...Rondo hates being micro managed on the court. I think that stems from how PG's struggle under Carlisle...the dude dictates way too much and rarely allows the PG options. Assuming Karl is still there, Rondo is gonna have a ton of freedom...Karl is very PG friendly as a coach, and PGs have thrived with him...Think Rondo will help the Kings...but they are still too dysfunctional at the top.
Think about this for a second. Rajon Rondo got rewarded with $10M for pouting, quitting, and yelling at his previous manager.

George Karl + Rondo. This will be more interesting than Karl + Cousins. There are some coaches that refuse to ever lose a battle of wills with a player. Karl is one of them, just like Carlisle. I can't see he and Rondo making it through an entire season peacefully. Wouldn't surprise me if Rondo and Cousins hit it off and Karl ends up getting fired at some point.

perfect fit for that org nobody knows whos in charge over there and i wouldn't be surprised to see rondo elevate their team
People are hating hard on Rondo, perhaps rightfully so, but I think he has a rebound season next year. Rondo is stubborn, sure, but give him a big like Boogie and he'll put up solid stats.
