Substitute the word Nowitski with Francis

    Smeg,

I do think Francis and Nowitski are equally bad on D, but Francis problem is that he is constantly peeking at the ball and not keeping track of his man...not to mention he has horrible reaction times to fakes etc.

Dallas need an impact center badly. They won't go anywhere without a post presence who can get easy points in the paint and protect the basket on the other end.

Watching Kings. I realize that they are not better shooter than a team say Rockets (I know they are better, but not THAT much better as many people say). But they are much much better passer than us. Their offense creates so many easy and good shots while our offense creates so many hard and bad shots. Chris Webber and Vlade Divac are the best passing big man tandam.

They must have about 20 dunks/layups today. Not to mention that out of their 40 FGs, about 30 were assisted. What a great passing team. What an offense.

They've lost 4 of the last 5 games. What happened to the Mavs? I thought that they were supposed to be good.

the mavs are doing the same as last year, play great in the season, and when the play offs come, they start to play soft, and get burned by the kings. last year i tought thet would beat the kings, but this year i have no faith in that. i really whant them to win, but they aren't a good defensive team. Only najera and finley can guard. to bad maybe next year with some D players

all valid criticisms Dak, the part that erks me the most is his refusal after getting beat to put a hand up or even run out or after the shooter, it is like he doesn't care

Geez, you think that Francis got criticized enough on the GARM board...apparently not...:)

As for the Kings/Mavs game, I turned it off when the Kings went up by 28 in the 3rd...

I mean, seriously...would anybody like to volunteer to guard Peja? I know that Webber is good and all that, but you don't leave Peja on the double team, not for a second...He's just too deadly from too many spots on the floor...

These guys aren't even waiting for the shot clock to get below 18 before they shoot it.

    Dirk is absolutely ON FIRE.

52-43 Mavs with 9 minutes to play in second

Dirk just missed his first shot after making 7 in a row

I have never seen an NBA team in any era play such HORRIBLE defense in the 1st 20+ minutes.

Kings come back in 2nd half and rips Dallas a new one to lead series 2-0.
