Landry needs to return as Rocket. Trade Scola before he gets old.

Kings don't want to pay him. For all the talk about spending...

if they are thinking of trading Carl Landry, we should go ahead and bring him back here. we really need a player like him back on our team. he was a great player while he was with us. how about signing him to a contract and adding him to our roster again. just do it.

...and arguably the worst perimeter defender in the NBA.

Can't win in ALL the categories, now can we?

Like another poster stated, Landry would be amazing in Boston. Though, I don't know how much playing time he will see, since Big Baby backs up Garnett, and JO backs up Shaq, with Perkins due back sometime.

Unless Landry shows he is better than BB or JO, I think Landry will be a benchwarmer on the Celts.

Thank you for the words of wisdom, professor.

I'm not asking for perfection, but his lack of effort and carefree attitude on defense are inexcusable. He doesn't put in the necessary work on that end of the floor. I honestly have much more respect for a player like Courtney Lee, who may not get buckets in bunches like Martin, but he consistently busts his ass on defense, and still manages to run the break, finish at the rim, hit the 3-ball, etc.

I'd love to see them trade him to an Eastern Conference contender. Boston, Orlando, even the dreaded Heat. He could help any of those teams. Hell, I wouldn't even mind seeing him go to a team like Washington to pair up with Wall. Those alley oops would be a beautiful thing.

Sigh, even if he was a third sting guy I still would like him playing for our team.(Without a true rim protector, I don't think our team would work it out our current lineup though)

oh yeah, and to address this..

Morey sold him at his highest, good assessing of talent by our GM.

High efficiency scoring is good, but the Rockets need to think of getting a lengthy interior defender than the luxury of having Landry back.

If true, I'm surprised the Kings soured on Landry so quickly.

And I wonder if it will affect how they evaluate other Rockets players they covet, especially Brooks. Maybe they'll be wary of offering Aaron a big contract over the summer.

LOL has your cable been out lately?

I throw something every time he misses a finish even though he gets a foot above the rim.... my house has been a mess half the season as a result.

    Landry coming back to Houston....
Hmmmm, I bet he would rip up his contract and give in to Morey's demands to get our of Sacramento. Or maybe he should ride it out since the team is moving to Vegas next week probably.

In terms of trading Scola before he gets old....
Too late, old man is already old bro! He is just Argentinian old which means you can play well into your 30's like Manu Ginboli lol.

in a way, that would be a great move. start j hill and bring landry back off the bench since hes not starter material. i really thought this was gonna be landry's breakout season, because he played so freaking well starting for the kings last year. i wanna keep scola though.
