Yeah, this was such a strange trade. Landry was the last person I thought we'd move...he seems like he's really improving every year. The guy is almost automatic in the post and has a good jumpshot. Still, Martin is a good player too...but...ahhh...I guess we'll see.

Who cares if he blocks people, I'd rather have someone who actually DEFENDS people. Guys like Barkley and Malone among other PFs show you that you don't need a shot-blocking PF. The reason Scola has more rebounds then Landry is probably because of that. Scola doesn't block shots, so he is in position to grab rebounds. That's what made guys like Mutombo and Hakeem and Ewing special. They could block shots AND still grab a lot of rebounds consistently.

Yeah, they think we gave him a shot to start...I think Landry started as a SF and that is it. I think it will work out great for them...don't know about THompson at Center though...

I would like Landry to get 6th man though, Kings might ruin that.

Scola always knows what he's supposed to be doing on the court. He rarely makes mistakes, rotates, makes the pass that leads to the assist, never rests on defense, never rests on offense. Hell, the guy never takes a minute off. Luis's problem? He physically can't do some of the things Carl can do. That's the difference. Scola will know what he needs to do and be faced with his physical limitations. He's smart enough to know it.
