I always read the morning edition of the Post. Even though Dale Robertson got thrown through the door by Pasterini, I always liked his writing. Back then there was competition for stories, and more journalism was happening, the Chronicle has gotten lazy, and they seem to be more of a mouthpiece for the local sport's teams. We used to get much more in depth analysis, and much better writing. Oh well, the newspaper business is dying, the only reason to get a fish wrap anymore is for the morning business in the throne room. Which is about where this guys blog and writing capabilities belong. DD
Yeah, print media is dead. The only time I by a paper is for the playoffs in football and basketball and special events. Other than that, its online action. Competion is always good for production.
I do agree that people are going over the top in bashing him for being hurt. You got guys who believe he is 100% but Bull has mentioned every game that Tracy still isn't walking/running/jumping right.
I don't think he is 100%, I think most NBA players are never 100% during the season. I think he should have come into camp more in shape, and had some of these mental hurdles already crossed. DD
The whole mess started when he told Feigen that he wasn't happy with the way he was playing not because he couldn't. It's gotten to the point where people are complaining about his salary. That's not McGrady's personal fault. The Rockets gave him that contract. The downside is that'll be hard to move. What should be worrying is his flakiness. If regular season is a build up to the playoffs the guy is practising to choke. There's the perception only superstars can win championships but I think that's the wrong model to follow. Rockets have the depth to be what Detroit were.
Who do you think pays his salary? Anyone who has paid for a ticket or merchandise or even sat through commercials during a game has paid for his salary.
You know what...I will accept that...maybe everyone has been hard on t-mac mabe he is hurting...and the article brings up a good point...maybe we are too quick to criticize in this case. BUT Soloman is a stroker. He bashes everyone from time to time. a Amd since justice and Feigan have written bad stuff about tmac...it is my guess that he is trying to stroke him to get in good so he can buddy up. I take the point of the article and admit that maybe we should give the benefit of the doubt in this case. And...what did Battier do that was against the team exactly...what mistakes did he make in recuperation? But soloman is an ass.
doesnt he actaully not get paid for games he doesnt play? if thats the case and i see how he plays the majority of those games I would sit him until he is back on his average stats
