You're an idiot. I can't even bother countering all your arguments, clearly you don't want to respect good basketball. You can search all my previous posts regarding Lebron for some rational observations if you want.

lebron is one of the top 5 players in the game, probably top 3.

the only way he's overrated is in people that keep bringing up the finals. him taking cleveland to the finals is hardly an accomplishment, and that's where i hate the hype. it's a bullsh!t conference. the jazz beating the rockets to get out of the first round is a bigger accomplishment then what the cavaliers did in three rounds.

Same here, I'm just pissed that we get flack for getting eliminated in the first round in a freakin tough conference, while the Cavs are glorified for beating up on scrub teams that won't make even it to the playoffs in the West (except Detroit, they would be probably 5th seed at best).

So if Jefferson was taller, bigger, more aware, had more assists, more rebounds, and was better, he would be like Lebron?

That's your argument that they are similar?

best post in this thread right there...nailed it.

very talented, still needs to continue working on his game if he wants to really be considered one of the best.....but hideously over-HYPED by the media.

but thats just the media doing what they do, dont blame the player.

Lebron is very good, but you have to seriously ask yourself how much better he can really get? I dont think you can compare him to players like MJ, Kobe, and Tmac. Those guy came into the league physically really weak and rail thin. Their game grew leaps and bound once their body got much bigger. I dont think Lebron can physically get much bigger or stronger.

I'm kind of surprised by all the Lebron haters on this board. If it were the Pistons playing against the Spurs right now it would at least be 2-1.... advantage maybe even to the Pistons.

Besides it's not Lebron's fault he had a cake walk to the finals. If somehow he couldn't get the Cav's to the finals the same haters would be saying "Lebron is so overrated he couldn't even get the Cav's to the finals in such a weak conference. Lebrons' damned either way. At least give credit where credits due.

So even though he's physically there, he cant grow mentally as fast? The more experience he gets, the more he'll learn about the game itself. Thinking that any 22 year old knows everything about the game of basketball is silly. He has tons of room to grow and he knows he can get better mentally as well as skill wise. Once Jordan lost his hops, what did he do? Played smarter and efficiently. Not saying lebron is jordan or anything, cause there is no next jordan. Just saying that at 22 years old can learn new things along the way.

My favorite quote from Old Jordan vs New Jordan commercial.

    "You Reach, I Teach."

Nope, the rapist is the most overrated player in the league. The Lakers managed to get the 7th seed in the west this year. How is that run Shaq out of town plan looking now?

Most underrated player in the league is Tim Duncan. You would think Manu was the key component to that team if you listened to the media at any point before the finals and Parker if you watched the coverage of the finals. When you look back at 4 Spurs championships though, what player will have been on all of those teams?

can we please stop it with the he's only 22 stuff?

whats it supposed to meanhe's only 22?

Does that mean his game will improve?

the guy's FT% was 67% this past season!

Guys who work on their game over the usmmer do not shoot 67% from the stripe, specially for someone who goes to the line as much as James. How much is he really trying to improve over the summer?

Not defending LBJ, but - uh, just what is TD's FT%? This year, or career...or p/o's?

Duncan's just not a very good FT shooter. There are some people, especially big men, who just aren't physically able to shoot FTs. Duncan's career FT% is 68%. I know he works at it, but he's just not genetically gifted in that department.

James on the other hand shot 75% his first 2 years then started going downhill form there to the 68% he shot this year (coirection of my 67% figure).

In fact the argument can be made that statistically, his best year so far has been his 2nd.

This is LeBron's 4th NBA season at 22. T-Mac was also 22 in his 4th NBA season. Let's compare:

    T-Mac (at 22)
    26.8 ppg, 7.5 rpg, 4.6 apg, 1.5 spg, 1.5 bpg, .457 fg%, .355 3fg%, .733 ft%

    LeBron (this season)
    27.3 ppg, 6.7 rpg, 6.0 apg, 1.6 spg, 0.7 bpg, .476 fg%, .319 3fg%, .698 ft%

Pretty even in scoring. T-Mac is a better shooter and shot blocker. LeBron has more assists.
