[Kind of Disturbing] Ever been hit HARD in the crotch?

In a high school game I was pitching, I had someone hit a comebacker to the mound that hit me right in the jewels. I'd never actually seen stars until that moment. You could hear the entire crowd go "whoa!" at the same time. It was surreal. I had to be carried off in a stretcher. There was significant discoloration and swelling for a long time thereafter. Needless to say, my social life suffered.

These are your nuts you're talking about, after all: do not take chances. I'd be bothering my doctor every single day to get this resolved, until I was absolutely 100% POSITIVE that there was no more danger. Otherwise, you might have a pair of these in your future:

My only ball-breaker pales in comparison, thankfully. Was playing softball, went after a fast grounder, it bobbled up and caught me square in the nuts. I even managed to slow it before impact, but that sac-smack still laid me flat for at least five minutes. No lasting damage, or even bruising.. however, after that testes-test, I gave up softball for good (really)

 

You play Catcher in slow pitch softball? Do you suck?

You could have a hematoma which could become infected if the blood vessels have been crushed and the fluids will not drain. This could be serious because gangrene can result, and as another posted suggested, amputation could become necessary. I almost had to have surgery on my foot when this happen to me, but a compression bandage made the bad fluid drain off.

Back at my first job we were having a water balloon fight, celebrating one of our employees' last day. We didn't leave any air in the balloons, just water.

The only problem was, these balloons weren't popping. So a friend of mine manages to corner me and gets ready to throw. This guy is freakishly big, and strong as hell. And he's less than a foot in front of me. So he throws the balloon at me and it hits me square in the nads. All you hear is, "BONK!" No pop or splash.

I was down and out for what seemed like the longest time. Couldn't get up if my life depended on it.

i hate when you're playing basketball and someone tries to throw if off of you while saving the ball from going out of bounds.....prolly the most painful experience ive ever had

Had a mate throughout school who always seemed to catch it in the bouncers.

no matter what sport we were playing in PE - soccer, basketball, volleyball, football - he always seemed to be on the receiving end.
