Mercer is 46 with a life threatening liver disease - however if he is even half on his game he would crush kimbo.
Maybe that's why this um, adult entertainment dude/MMA fighter (wth?) wants to fight him : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-kJSYVPUBJ8
I didn't know Kimbo had lost, and this was his 3rd out of 5 fights. <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Hx9WPWJLodE"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Hx9WPWJLodE" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>

Mercer has lost his boxing license in most states due to his medical problesm so I wouldn't be surprised if this doesn't materialize.
Cleveland: Hey, baby. How would you like to go black, and then make a difficult decision regarding whether or not to go back? reminds me of Cleveland on family guy
Mercer hasn't been exactly inactive recently -- from wiki... Resuming his boxing career in 1998, he strung together a number of early round knockouts over journeymen such as Leo Loiacono, Jeff Pegues, Don Steele and Bryan Scott before losing to WBO Heavyweight Champion Wladimir Klitschko in 2002. Mercer's last venture into the boxing ring was a loss to Shannon Briggs on August 26, 2005 - Briggs went on to become the WBO World Heavyweight Champion the following year.
