I don't think so. I'm sure you know that was Michael Madsen's character in Reservoir Dogs...at least I think it is.
Mr. Blonde in Reservoir Dogs was named Vic Vega. Though it is never expressly mentioned in the movies, to my knowledge, he and Vincent Vega from Pulp Fiction are supposed to be brothers. EDIT: Man, now I'm so slow, I got two people beating me to the punch. This old age thing is really starting to hit me.
Kill Bill SUCKS!!!! I can't believe that I stayed to watch the whole movie. I've never walked out of a movie before, but I came real close to walking out during the cartoon (anime) scene. The only reason I stayed, was to watch the fight scene between Uma & Lucy, & that lasted all of what, 5 minutes? Then the movies basically over. What a joke. QT does use some creative cinematography techniques, but no way does it save this movie. I'm with Nomar on this piece of crap. It blows more than the gays in the Montrose area. If QT had been there, I would've punched him in the face for stealing my $7.00. But, not to worry, he'll never get another dime out of me. KILL BILL SUCKS!!!!
I saw it today, thought it was great. Typical QT movie, and a bit gorish to me. The Animae part was great and the cliffhanger at the end came out of no where.
I finally saw it. Great movie. Violent as hell, but great all around. The 'final' battle scene was just plain fantastic. And the schoolgirl chick was creepy. Strangely appealing...but creepy.
you think she was creppy, watch this import movie called "Battle Royale". That is one GORISH movie and she is in it.
Wow. I didn't know she was in Battle Royale...I've been meaning to get that movie, but haven't yet. Guess that's how Tarantino knew she'd be perfect for that role.
I heard somewhere that QT tried to release it here in the States but was denied cause of its content, then again, I think its just a rumor. Its great, and you thought Kill Bill was gory, heh, u aint seen notta yet.
Just saw it and thought it was very good. I love the way QT tells a story and will make just about any movie "COOL." I thought the development of the O-Ren story with the annimation was very well done. When O-Ren and her crew was walking through the restaurant in slow motion with the Kill Bill theme music blazing I got a few goose bumps, I knew it was about to be on. Best fight scene: Go-Go and Uma. I read somewhere that QT will leave off Chapter 5 in the script which deals with Go-Go's sister Yuki. It was supposed to be called Yuki's Revenge and would have been the only gunfighting, grenade-exploding scene in the movie. I believe Yuki will still be in Vol. II though. Oh, and Julie Dreyfus really did it for me. She's a hot little potato. Did anyone else think in the opening credits that Julie Dreyfus was actually Julie Louis-Dreyfus? It didn't really seem like Elaine would belong in a QT flick. I've trying to hold back on reading the whole script but it's supposed to contain lots of twists and turns. I can't wait for for Vol. II.
I read about the Yuki part too. I thought the whole split screen thing with her going around LA and Disney Land doing tourist stuff while Uma heads back to Cali was awesome. Their showdown seems like it would have been hard to film with Yuki driving a convertible and shooting a sub-machine gun at the same time. I looked at IMDB and there is no mention of Yuki in the cast for Vol 2, not to mention that in the original script, the GoGo killing the ugly Japanese guy in a bar was supposed to be a drunk and pissed of Yuki after she finds out her sister is dead. The "you call that begging" stuff also was originally for Yuki.
Nomar is just a gay homosexual. Finally saw Kill Bill last night! There were only about ten people in the theater on a weekday night, but the movie was still cool. Best fight scenes ever! There weren't any cheesy Matrix-esque special effects that recent movies have been gorging on, just excellent fight choreography and lots of blood! The second installment will hopefully answer a lot of questions, mainly who the heck Uma Thurmond's character is and where SHE came from. I'm starting to get annoyed with Tarantino's ego, though. Did anybody notice all the veiled Pulp Fiction references? Red Apple Cigarettes billboard in Tokyo...pretty obvious When Uma Thurmond wakes up from the coma, her scream is almost identical to the scream at Lance's house in Pulp Fiction. Also, in Pulp Fiction, an injection wakes her up. In Kill Bill, the lack of an injection wakes her up. Uma's interest in katanas, like Butch... Finally, "Death List Five"?? Are you f*ck*ing kidding me? Come on Quentin...you're a great director, but you've only made four movies. I don't think you've earned the right to pay homages to yourself just yet
Oh yeah, if Tarantino makes a sequel to Pulp Fiction, I will personally hunt him down and cut off his testicles with a rusty butter knife...
