Pearl Jam has really good songs. Like black thats one of my favs, jeremy, evenflow, and alive are some very good songs. Ya i really don't think that Neither would hang out together but hey there all good bands. So people need to give them all props. Much props here.
How does being one of this guy's favorites equal being "lumped in"? He's allowed to like different kinds of music, isn't he? Also, Kid Rock is just as original as STP, in my opinion. Plus, STP was recently on the "Family Values" tour with a bunch of Kid Rock-esque acts, so apparently they don't mind being lumped in with that crowd at all.
i went to that concert itw as badass and ya that is true i bet they where influences to him hell what do i know. you never know.
Well, you have a point Freak. But what I was really meaning by my comment that you quoted was that Kid Rock, despite calling himself a rock artist, would hardly be an artist that would be similar in style to STP and PJ. It would be comparable to me to say something like my 3 favorite artists are: Motorhead Pantera Limp Bizkit Yea, so that might be a LITTLE extreme, but I think you get where I'm coming from. It just seemed like an odd grouping to me. Oh and you probably know this Freak, but STP has radically changed their sound from their first CD, Core. So, I'm not surprised by them touring on this "Family Values" tour.
Kid Rock isn't musical but he's definitely entertaining. I wouldn't buy his albums, but I'd much rather hear his songs on the radio than Lip'Synch or Bon Jovi.
Yes i agree with you that STP has changed they way they sound there music isn't the same quality as core was and when i was at the concert i noticed that they where trying i guess to be like static-x with a little linkin park mixed in there attitude. but hey there badass and i will always like them.:rock:
