We suck ass! The spurs only had to tank one season and got Duncan and everything changed. We got Yao and nothing changed. I hope the new coach can utilize Yao to his full potential as the spurs did (are doing) with Duncan.
I think you don't factor in Duncan = 4 yr college & Yao = 1 st yr in US playing ball. I agree we should have done better, but fact is we have talent & are (hopefully!) going to put it together next year. I know I don't, so you are speaking only for yourself on that one!!
No, best player on THE best team. If he's a choker then everyone in the league is a choker. If they've choked numerous times in the playoffs, every other team has either choked MORE times than them in the playoffs, or not even made the playoffs. World champions usually aren't chokers.
Just b/c you lose does not mean you choke.......the Spurs will be up by like 20 & let the other team come back time & time again, that is the definition of a choke job! I agree that the Spurs are ONE OF the best teams, NJ seems to be pretty good as well if the last game was any indication!
