This is just a recap of the Nets - Raptors game from ESPN http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/recap?gameId=270407017 Bottom line: ........pt / ast / rb Kidd: 10 / 18 / 16 Carter: 46 / 10 /16 Pretty impressive, considering their team is ...well, bad
considering the game went in OT vs. a gilbert-less Wizard..........don't mean anything. And I still recall last season where someone score on the last sec vs. Rox (at home) to help kidd get his 10th assist for triple double.
That was Carter on a 3...if you read the notes it says Kidd's career high for assits is 25, holy crap.
i'm pretty sure it was a 2 pointer. B/c rafer was criticizing them for scoring the last point (i think it was a uncontested layup with like a few sec left).
Win or lose, two teammates getting triple-doubles in the same game is pretty impressive. Having 2 guys with 10+ assists is probably the hardest part. New Jersey averages only 23 or so assists per game, and they got 28 from just 2 guys in this game.
while that is probably the hardest overall, i'm more amazed that not only 2 teammates, but 2 perimeter player teammates, got 16 boards each! even a frontcourt player grabbing 16 should hold everyone else down, but a perimeter guy doing it should make it practically impossible for another perimeter guy to even get the 10 for a triple double, much less the same 16.
