I don't think you tried to understand a thing I said. NONE of that is pertinent to the initial complaint -- except the gun.

Guns are not that hard to dispose of. Take the Walt Whitman bridge and do a heave-ho.

No one ever said that anyone was shot or that any shots were even fired-- just that he threatened with a weapon.

Your LOVE for AI is getting in the way....

The two people who reported Iverson could not say for sure that he had a gun. They THOUGHT he had a gun. They admitted to this.

Your HATE for AI is getting in the way...

AI already stated that you bandwagoners were just that. Bandwagoners. As soon as he is found innocent and light some team up for 55 next year, yall will all be swinging again.

    Bandwagon....LOL..

I did not like that punk before, and I still don't like him.

AI is just a thug who can play basketball.

He is not a man, a man does not throw his wife out of the house naked.

Iverson is an overgrown kid, and the worst thing is that he is a father.....this crap will carry over to the next generation.

You need a license to drive a car, to get married etc...but any idiot (IVERSON) can be a father....

    Sad... :(

Looks more and more like AI's wife was cheating on him, and that Shaun Bowman guy is somehow involved. I'm not condoning what he did; what he did was wrong, period, and he should be held accountable for whatever they find he did. But his wife was cheating on him. Who wouldn't be mad p*ssed? Give him credit for not just blowin the guy away right there.

And thats why he gets paid the big bucks

You keep saying this. You act like she is so innocent in all of this. Wouldnt you be pissed as hell if you walked in on your wife cheating on you? Or she was coking it up right there with the kids in the house?

If this is the case, then he is a MAN for tossing her out when he could have done much worse.

    Rez..

    Ever hear the saying....

2 wrongs do not make a right !!!

There is NOTHING that is right about sending your wife out of the house naked...NOTHING !!!

Deal with the problem don't boot her out.

You keep mentioning her cocaine problem...where is that documented? Has she been arrested for it, or is it all hearsay like you are hiding behind in your defense of this moron.

There are quite a few differences in the two cases. The cop was performing his duty in full view of many witnesses. Just because someone thinks he overstepped his bounds does not mean that he did.

Those guys in that thread wanted him arrested on the spot; that is ridiculous. His work will be evaluated by those whose job it is to do so.

My comments about Iverson came when it was being announced that charges were being considered.

Unlike Iverson, the policeman never threatened to use deadly force. Nor is it part of Iverson's job to go around breaking into other people's homes and threatening them.

Admittedly I am more of an apologist for the police (who deserve it) than I would be for Allen Iverson. They have a tough job. Allen makes a job tough.

Nice try but no go. Come back when you have something solid.

    DaD,

Thats my point!! I dont know all of the facts. I dont know if she left or if she got kicked out. It doesnt make sense to me that Iverson would kick her out then go looking for her 30 min. later. It makes sense that she left and he went chasing after her. BUT, I dont know what happened. I dont pass judgement until I know ALL of the facts.

You obviously go along with the first thing you hear.

Rezdawg; can you blame us for believing everything we hear? This guy's past doesn't really make us want to believe that these charges are all wrong. And Iverson isn't one of the top 3 guards in the league in my opinion. His shooting percentage was 39%. Kobe, TMac, Payton, Kidd, and I think even Franchise are better players then him. The only reason he led the Sixers to the Finals was because the East sucks. Put the Sixers in the West that year and they wouldn't even get out of the first round.

    Rez,

Where there is smoke there is fire.

Iverson has proven time and time again that he is a punk.

    Practice....we talking bout practice.....

    Ring a bell?

This guy is a headcase pure and simple...I concede that we do not know all the facts, but enough people who DO know the facts decided to charge him with 14 separate violations of the law with a possible 70 years in jail.

He will have his day in court, as he deserves. However, if you have constantly been a bad person in life...and Iverson has....then you reap what you sow.

LOL!!!! Your comparing his work ethic to this case??? Who cares if he doesnt practice. He gives 110% every second he is on the court. So he doesnt go to practice.....THEREFORE HE'S GUILTY OF EVERY CRIME HE IS CHARGED WITH!!!

    You dont make sense

Iverson is not a hard worker. If he was he'd show up for practice. If you want to be the best you have to practice. He obviously is too full of himself to practice. He hurts his team by not practiceing. Maybe that's why his team's chemistry sucks, is because he doens't practice.

The team chemistry sucks because his teammates are worthless. His shooting percentage sucks because NOBODY on that team can hit a shot outside of 12 feet. He has to do EVERYTHING on the offensive end.

maybe his teammates wouldn't be so "worthless", as you callously put it, if they had the opportunity to practice, as a team, with their superstar?

Their jumpshots suck regardless of if he practices or not.

Besides, during the season, do you know how many practices there are? Very Very few.
