His teammates would not be so worthless if Iverson wasn't so selfish. Remember Stackhouse, Kukoc, and Hughes? All pretty damn good offensive players. Of course that little **** could not fathom the thought of sharing the ball with any of them. It is Allen's own fault he has no teammates worth a crap. Everytime he has one he runs them out. The other stars are not exactly lining up to play with that selfish little ball hog.

Of course none of this has any thing to do with his off court problems.

But my point is that he is **** on the court and **** off the court as well.

LOL DaDakota. Great point Rockets03. I actually forgot about that. If he wasn't selfish, then he could've had a good team around him and Stackhouse would probably still be a Sixer. Also, Rezdawg, he is 'the Franchise player' and 'team leader'. So how can he lead his team if he basically says, "I don't want to practice and I shouldn't have to because I'm great and you all suck."

LOL

OK you guys hate Iverson, point taken.

I try to make it my policy not to hate anyone I don't know, especially based on speculation and presumption, but your feelings are your own business.

I mean there is no question that he is a punk. Even if he isn't guilty, he still is a punk. His rap lyrics really pissed me off. He talked about raping women, killing cops, selling cocaine, robbing banks, and other bad stuff like that. Here is the affidavit of probable cause.

Its good to see you guys change the subject from these current charges he is under to his status as a "team leader". Good work guys.

HTF are we changing it? Most of us are saying that he sucks at being a team leader as well as a decent human being.

Read the first 5 pages of this thread, it is all about his current charges and him as a human being. The thread title even implies that Iverson should get kicked out because of who he is as a person. Nothing in the first 5 pages discusses his lack of team leadership. That is why the subject has been changed.

rezdawg: Your juniior status is really showing here! These threads morph and get tangential all the time. It was no deliberate attempt to change the subject... :)

Hey, I didn't even join in...

Read DaDakota's first post on page 6. He brings up practice out of nowhere. Not once had we discussed this issue during the first 5 pages.

Now, DaDakota did not mean to change the subject at that point, he was merely making a comment. But, at that time, other posters, including DaDakota started with the discussion of how he is horrible because he doesnt go to practice. This discussion started due to the fact that all of the so called "evidence" in the Iverson case turned out to be false. Those guys hate Iverson and are willing to turn the world over to prove their point at all costs. There was no gun, there was no blood, his wife didnt get kicked out, but rather left on her own. They needed something else to bring Iverson down with.

I will wait to see what happens with these charges. However, with his history there is no doubt that he is a punk and an irresponsible adult.

I hope the charges are true, because someone needs to straighten him out......all these weak, no back bone enablers around him are not helping him be a man at all.

DaDakota, stop this bullsh*t your running. You know damn well that we never discussed practice until you had to run like a girl. Either you are a sissy or a redneck. Choose one.

By the way DaD, if you notice what I posted, I said, "Not once had we discussed this issue during the first 5 pages."

I never said that nobody had brought it up. You and I never discussed practice until you had to bring it up to blame Iverson for something else.

Get it right next time.

Time to put on your Ruby slippers Rez, you are showing your thin skin and ignorance, better run back to your trailer and shut the door, I think I hear a tornado coming.

Click your heels together..."There is no place like home..Rez...there is no place like home"

Rezdawg, why don't you shut up. The only defense you've had of Iverson is people changing the subject. It's a message board. Wouldn't be boring if no one changed the subject in any posts? This post was originally about kicking Iverson out of the league, which means it is not just about his charges, it is about Iverson. If you have nothing else to say in his defense other then innocent until proven guilty and that we 'change the subject' then you are an idiot.

I haven't read the first several pages of this thread (I don't want to ruin the glow from my groovy vacation in San Francisco), but has anyone brought up the point that this may be the proverbial straw that broke Larry Brown's back? I wouldn't be at all surprised if Brown said adios... what's the Answer to that?

There are times that changing the subject is necessary. Other times, its in an act of self defense.

Lets go back to what Im talking about:
On page 5, we were discussing the evidence against Iverson in the current charges against him. Posters were arguing the fact that you cant break in with a gun, etc... Well, once it turned out that they never saw a gun and that they think he had a gun on him, the attention turned to him kicking out his wife.

DaDakota said that no man would kick out his wife. Once again, the wife left and Iverson went looking for her. You then stated "can you blame us for believing everything we hear?".
DaDakota brings up practice immediately after your post. WTF is that about? It was not pertinent to any of OUR conversation up to that point. You then follow it up with how he doesnt work hard and how he's not a good teammate and blah blah blah.

DaDakota then caps the page by saying "No matter what happens I do not like the guy" proving the main point of his discussions.

If I was Brown, I would be inclined to leave the team. Its obvious that AI has made his job much tougher than it should be. Brown has always wanted to coach high school basketball. Since his son will be playing, it would be fun for him to coach his son.

However, Brown will not leave. He will coach at least one more year if not two.

Rezdawg you are an idiot. Just because he said no matter what happens he doesn't like Iverson doesn't help your case at all. No matter what happens I won't like Iverson either, it doesn't mean I am changing the subject. And come on the attention didn't just turn to his wife because of that, the people that witnessed Iverson's breakin all said that they saw a give. It's a bbs forum, subjects change all the time, it doesn't mean that people are avoiding a subject. Just get a life man. I can see why you still are a junior member, because you are pissing a lot of people off.
