I finally got a chance to watch it. Pretty awesome movie.

I agree that the marketing of it was not done the best but I do like that there were parts of the movie that were a surprise, rather than having the entire movie plot crammed into the trailer.

I remember seeing the trailer for KickAss way back when...the one where Nick is shooting Hitgirl. BUt i never put that old trailer in connetion with this movie.

    Hope they do another.

I do to but it's extremely unlikely, it was a fairly large box office dud. With lesser name comic character movies underperforming at the box office studios are backing away from making more.

maybe but going by this http://www.boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=kickass.htm

it looks like worldwide it made almost $100 mill, which is a good return for being made for so cheap ($30).

I'd imagine it's DVD/Bluray sales are going to be very good because of its following.

I dont want a forced sequal, but if someone comes up with a great story and executes it similar to the first then I would imagine someone would be willing to run with it.

I'm hoping the dvd/bluray sells are strong, might peak the studios interest in doing another one.

I have not seen inception yet, but this was the best movie. Of the year so far imo. As foor those of you complaining about the person who died, what would you have preferred? I thought it was a great moment in the movie. Would you prefer a vanilla happy ending?

Character's death was 100x better in the movie than in the book.
