    I didn't see this posted anywhere. I don't think we'll be hearing Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson having anything to say about this incident..

    Not sure what Sharpton or the hero and rescuer of American military Jesse Jackson have to do with this story.

    You do know the victim's family in the Martin case requested Jackson and Sharpton's involvement right? It wasn't something they did on their own.

    Think so. If she was going to kidnap a baby for herself you would think she would get a black one to allay suspicion.

    why would they want the sharpton's help? All they need is Vlad X. I can handle this!

    anyways, terrible story. that could have been any young mother. And the shooter was a nurse. Yikes. You're never safe.

    Just trying to point out how screwed up the media is. It seems like we won't hear the end of the Trayvon Martin case.. It's a 'HUGE' deal when a young black male is killed in a gated community when he's acting suspicious but when an innocent mother is killed and her 3-day-old baby taken from her it's just another day.

    I wouldn't say it's just another day, but the difference is that the shooter in this was arrested. There was no appearance that the nurse would be let off the hook.

    I think in both cases people understand horrible things like shootings occur, but in one case it looked like the shooter might not have to even defend the shooting in court, and in the other case the shooter was arrested, and booked without delay.

    What I want to know is when the media will stop talking about kidnapped/murdered minorities and focus on white victims?!?!?

    The Trayvon Martin case has just been an excuse for r****ded racists to remind the rest of us just how r****ded and racist they are.

    Inserting race into this horrible story? Really? When did CF turn into the chronicle comments section? :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

    I've been keeping up with this story since yesterday somehow hoping that there was more to it. But apparently there isn't. This poor lady and her 3-day old child were just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

    The fact that it was totally random kind of scares the crap out of me.
