[KHOU] Charles Barkley: Rockets have 'disrespected' Tracy McGrady

And T-Mac disrespected the Rockets fanbase by faking a back injury for a whole season.....and not trying hard most games.....and jacking up bad shots instead of driving to the basket. Barkley holds a grudge against Houston for whatever reason, but he should be mad at himself for putting on 100 lbs during his tenure here....Thank You.

Pretty much. McGrady was already on thin-ice going into this season with his previuos antics. Then he makes a mess of the current situation publicly asking for more playing time. He couldn't bring himself to excercise a minimum of patience to see how things played out. Instead he shows his lack of respect for his teammates and organization by playing dress up before a game.

The guy is an immature brat and his supporters come across just like he does in their misguided (ignorant) perspective of the situation.

 

I have gained a LOT of respect for the Rockets organization and particularly Adelman and Morey because of the way they have handled the McGrady situation.

First time I agreed with barkley, stiill feel management is making a big mistake without giving him a chance to see what he has left before trading him.

I'd be very upset if he gets to playing back at an elite level, while we'd be stuck in mediocre with caron butler.

 

I know, I mean its TMAC he will leads us past the 1st round of the playoffs, errh nevermind.

 

You can't do it alone, last year Rockets finally had more players that can create Wafer, Brooks, Lowry, Artest... when has T-mac played with someone who can create ouotside of yao (when he wasn't injured)... errh nevermind

 

Tracy wasn't going to lead us anywhere, that much is clear now. He needs a fresh start and so do we. I don't necessarily wish him luck but if he's able to get it going again and win, then more power to him.

what? whatever tmac could have done at the start of the season still wouldnt gotten him to play. DM wanted tmac traded at the tradedeadline season and came into the season still planning to trade him. and RA never wanted to play him because the rockets were playing well at the start of the season and was only forced to play him sparingly because he know's tmac's on the way out and he didnt want the team to change their offense to rely on tmac again.

you say we're ignorant, but it's clear as day that RA and DM had no plans bringing back tmac and still you cant see it.

 

Hball Tracy in the utah series settled with mostly jumpers, instead of driving to the rim for contact, thus getting utah in foul trouble. Tracy was not known as a good defender to begin with, that is why we traded for Battier. It's on Me!!!
