He didnt refuse to do anything, it is actually the opposite. He requested more minutes in order to do his job and he was rejected

There's a difference between a differing opinion based on logic and a differing opinion based on idiocy.

I personally feel that if a person posts an opinion based on idiocy, then they deserve to be called out and ridiculed.

Ever since Rudy left the Rockets, it doesn't feel like a "family" organization anymore.

    To me the "family" years
    were

    Coach Rudy T
    Bill and Calvin on TV
    Jim and Gene on radio

His job is to play the minutes that the coach allocates to him.

So yes, he refused to do his job.

"He doesn't make players better, he doesn't get easy baskets. He just shoots tough fadeaways."

See, he doesn't always side with players. if a player has flaws, he will call them out on it. I never said CB34 hates TMac if that was what you were implying.

He's talking about T-mac in that specific time and period of that game/season.

If you take what he says at other times about T-mac, then the majority of it would be good.

They've been on TV for what 10 years? they have commented on T-mac many times and the Rockets many times.

You can't say Barkley hates Yao because he made the donkey bet, but yet the casual fan here does. They don't know what was said the other X amount of years of commenting on Yao.

Listen, I can understand somewhat as to what Charles is saying and I know that Tracy did some things off the court that burned his bridges here and I understand that. However, I am somewhat disappointed with how the Rockets handled the situation as well

First of all, if anyone has followed this team closely which I am sure we have, everyone knows that initially Rick and Daryl had nothing against Tracy, even after the injury. You can actually go back and watch press conferences with them stating he is STILL our guy. It wasnt until Tracy announced on his website that he was having surgery without the common courtesy of telling his coach that things began to go South.

My only issue is that the Rockets knew before the season even began that Tracy was not in their future plans, he had already burned his bridges. So in my opinion why promise the man a certain amount of minutes and then say that the minutes will increase when you already knew from day one that you wanted him gone. So naturally when Tracy doesnt get what was promised to him, he request a trade. They knew thats what would happen, thats what happens when any player doesnt get what they want, they request a trade.

Come on guys, you all know as well as I do that any player that comes back from a surgery, if the team has intensions of keeping a player, they will find a way to increase his minutes, especially with the way our current starting guard had been playing. But the fact of the matter is they had already decided that he was out of here. Did he deserve it? Maybe he did, who knows or even cares for that matter, everyone has an opinion.

I just wish that the Rockets would have been up front with him from the jump and let him know how they felt and that they no longer wanted him to be a part of the orginization rather than going through the motions acting as though he would get a legitimate chance to prove himself when the Rockets knew no matter what he did, they were done with him..

LMAO, i never even said barkley hates tmac. If anything, shouldn't you be mad that Barkley says so many good things about TMac? He obviously doesn't agree with how many fans think of him. How do you feel about his love for TMac?

Speaking of Barkley, he was on Jim Rome today. He said he has never played with anyone as good as Odom or Gasol.

    Uhhhh....

why are you so obsessed on what I think about what Barkley thinks about Tmac?

Obviously as of now, the T-mac 2010, Barkley and any other normal person besides crazed uneducated twackians, thinks he's on a major decline.

For me and all the real Rocket fans here, we just want to him leave cause we know his time is up as a Rocket.

Him refusing to do his job would have been him saying Im not going out there to play 7 minutes a game period. But thats not what happened, he was told go out there and give me 7 minutes a game and after a certain amount of games, the minutes will increase.

Well when the minutes didnt increase, naturally like any other player he got upset, get real, your faulting this man for wanting to play more minutes..

So let me guess if you go to work everyday and your boss promises you something, then when you go to your boss and he doesnt give you what he initially promised, what do you do? 9 times out of 10 you would be pissed and start looking for another job...

I mean come on guys I know you dont like T-Mac and God knows that the Rockets had every reason to be upset and do what they did, but like I have always said the situation wasnt handled properly.

As I understand it, this last statement is false. Do you have any kind of corroboration?

I will see if I can locate a link for you but I heard that about 3 different times before the season even began. Once with Rick and the other times with Daryl doing interviews on SR610.

i really dont understand the crazy amount of hate tmac gets. he deserves some criticisms but the hate he gets is beyond what he deserves. tmac gave a lot to this rockets team, he played when he was asked to play (7mins a game), he stopped playing when he was asked to stop and, after that, he hasnt been in the media at all to bash anything about the rockets. he went back up to chicago to workout and get looked at by potential suitors (walsh from NYK). the dude just wants to play.

look at the 22 win game streak we had, no way you can do that without team chemistry. no way. we essentially have the same group of players we had for that win streak as we do now. he was in and out of the lineup last year per the advice of team doctors (yet people still criticize him for that). the only bad thing that REALLY stands out is him announcing his knee surgery near deadline, POTENTIALLY stopping a RUMORED trade for VC. and even then, the team doctor said it was a misunderstanding between tmac/the doctors/the rockets. (watch the 30min video of the rockets' doctor explaining everything).

but no, people will still continue to hate tmac without looking both at his faults and the good he did for this franchise. you do both and make a judgment call, if then you decide to hate tmac.... then fine, im ok with that.
