I might hesitate on this trade if I were Laker's manager.

If by hesitate, you mean pick yourself off the floor after having a near heart attack because the T-Wolves just offered you KG for Odom and Bynum and you forgot the English word for "deal"...

then yes, I might hesitate too.

What's funny is that those draft picks the Wolves lost in the Joe Smith fiasco could have been pretty helpful in their cause to build a team around Garnett.

    2001:
    Record: 47-35
    Projected Pick: 17
Potential draftees (according to the 2001 NBA draft): Gerald Wallace, Zach Randolph, Jamal Tinsley, Tony Parker, Gilbert Arenas, Mehmet Okur

    2002:
    Record: 50-32
    Projected Pick: 22
Potential draftess (according to the 2002 NBA draft): Tayshaun Prince, Nenad Krstic, Carlos Boozer

Not saying they would have been draft geniuses and get Arenas one year and Prince or Boozer the next, but it did deplete their ability to develop young players from the ground up.

Thank you, that's what not proofreading will get you.

Sorry it bothers you so much...how would you grade me?
