I think KG is one of the realist players in the nba. Doesn't have the PR created image that other stars strive for.
We don't like Garnett because of this: Spoiler When Shaq puts his ass on the ground he doesn't do s***. Good player, still don't like him as a person. He's a fake tough guy. He picks on smaller players but becomes a pussey when its someone his bigger than him. i dont get the blind loyalty to garnett around here - i dont get the blind loyalty to stevie franchise either, but at least he was a rocket. the 'hate' is due to the way garnett conducts himself - he is a bully who tries to start stuff w/ players smaller than him and he is a puss b/c he backs down whenever they come back at him. who can respect that? garnett is a great player, no question and i always liked him throughout his career, but since he got to the celtics his antics/attitude seem to have gotten out of hand.
Yes he is. Just like Kobe and Jordan. Some of the best players EVER, still don't like the way they act.
If I did not see it wrong, Shap actually protected KG from falling too hard by grabbing him all the way till he lands. You don't go after that.
Yes, everyone and every teams want a KG. But if KG did what he did to Jose Calderon in Rockets Red then i will be still feel ashame of him!
The funny part is that KG was acting this way long before his trip to the Celtics. He has a history of also punching his teammates for no random reason. http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/32979/20040901/garnett_punches_player_during_pickup_game/ Douchebag, idiot, bully, *ussy, etc. don't even really do him justice. He's a punk, pure and simple. He's clearly a great player, but I rank him behind Duncan, Malone, Pettit, Hayes, Malone and around the same as Barkley, Mchale.
It's funny how some of the guys who are viewed as "good guys" on the court turn out to be super jerks off of it (like Jordan) while a guy who is probably the most annoying, cheap player on the court this decade, KG, is generally considered a soft spoken, nice guy off of it.
After watching the spoiler, it's apparent that if the Olympics ever adopts "back peddling";then KG will be a champion in 2 sports!
Son please...you must be kidding. You basically have to be bats**t crazy insane to be the best. I wish we had KG and Ron. Nobody would **** with us then. Ever. Haha. It would be a blood bath.
As long as the player doesn't cause trouble off the court, plays hard every game, and spends time doing NBA cares commercials, then that's good enough for me. There are a lot of people that think Kobe, Jordan, Lebron, etc are douchebags. Does that mean they don't want them on their team? KG doesn't trash talk proven star players because it doesn't work on them. I can see it effecting the type of players he does go after though. It's all good strategy and used by a lot of star players. He doesn't take cheap shot people like Kobe does(ex: Elbow Artest in the throat or elbow Battier on the ground, etc.), was never accuse of raping anyone, didn't throw his whole team under the bus, and didn't knock his teammates head like a ragdoll on the bench because he was frustrated.
