Ever occured to anyone that the Celtics wanted to run up the score?

The whole season, people have been ragging on the joke known as the Leastern Conference and how Boston has the best record in the league because they played all the bad teams. While in the West, critics are claiming the top 9 all as legit contenders.

Why wouldn't Boston want to sweep the Texas three-step and make a statement to the West and the media? And breaking our 22-game streak was just cherry on the top?

    It shows with their record:

    32-9 (.780) vs the East
    22-4 (.846) vs the West
7-0 (1.000) vs. the Southwest (the so-called "best") division

If that's the case, it all makes sense on why their starters were all on the floor with a 25 pt lead and 1 minute left in the game, still scoring early in the shot clock instead of dribbling it out.

They wanted to dunk on us.

    Just to prove a point.

    I laughed.

BTW, I don't know what happened (I stopped watching your game in the 3rd), but I support the KG hatred. Then again, I almost got kicked out of a CU basketball game because KG was there to support Chauncey Billups (honoring him at halftime) and I was 4 rows behind KG. Needless to say, beer + pissed off Nuggets fan = near ejection. But I even got Chauncey to laugh on a few of 'em, so it was worth it.

You are mad because someone took a shot at his teammate in the throat and he stood up for him? Man I would hate to be in a fight and have to have you have my back.

From my extensive knowledge of Bill Simmons' columns, Bill Simmons is an idiot.

Bet you'd love that same energy if he was playing for the Rockets.

Big whoop. Let him dunk. Maybe his fire will rub off on the Rockets.

I can't believe no one has mentioned KG about to go after Scola at the end of the 1st half. Scola's acting chill and laughing about it and the ref is trying to calm KG down yet KG does he's usual act hard ****. "Oh, i'm KG, how dare you lay a hand on me, do you know who I am?"
I hope the celts don't make it to the finals, as much as I like Doc, Pierce and Ray Allen.

I was a big KG supporter. But, after last night his classless performance during garbage time, I lost respect to him.

In fact, last season the reason causing the fight between Denver and New York was similar to this.

I also lost respect to Tom T. I don't think that was Doc Rivers' idea to put KG on the court during garbage time. I guess Tom T. hates Adelman and the rockets.

The team played with a lot of energy last night, they were just matched by a team that had just as much energy, and much better players.

Wait a minute... last night i saw a team that fought to the very end of the game. Hell didn't you see Scola?

I think you've been spoiled man. Our team obviously had plenty of fire, but just didn't have the talent. We need Yao and Landry healthy. Then we'll see whose dunking on who.

KG is a trick and so is Rajon Rondo. That team, much like the Patriots, have absolutely NO class. And like the Pats, they will lose in the playoffs.

You can blame the loss on anything, be it talent, size, shooting, McGrady...

We did not get out-hustled by Boston.

We got beat by a better team with better talent and bigger size that gave as much effort as us. We got destroyed in just about every facet of the game, even rebounding, when we were -10 last night as the best rebounding team in the league. The team we had on court last night had no answer to a superior Boston team that came to town ready to play. There was nothing we could've done differently that would've significantly changed the outcome of the game.

And in games like that, you just forget about it and move on.

But what KG did last night made it much easier for me to root for the Pistons and LeBrons come playoff time.
