yay for my first post :)

omg. don't even start this... trading tmac for kobe . c'mon. i like kobe but tmac simply just have that chemistry with yao. if u watched rockets last season (esp the dallas games) tmac made all those nice passes to yao. kobe is awesome but he needs to take lots of shots to get it going.. TMAC is a better passer

there is no reason for us to trade tmac for kobe, it would destroy the whole rockets franchise.

Maybe Kobe could buy Les a diamond ring.

And Wade, of course. No need to have two great centers and yes -Zo in a team. What do u think the Miami fans should do? Arguing who sholud be starter no end?

Ok, if Miami is crazy enough to approve the Wade-Yao trade, WHO can play Wade's position in his Level? Shaq or Zo? Come on ,DUDE

    Whoever.
On the onter hand who plays Shaq's position after he is done, which he is showing the sign.
Wade is a great player, no doubt, but you are saying Miami wont trade a guard for a dominating big man for years to come ... You under value Yao, and that's what bothers me. case closed.

From YOF's side, you are right. But from GM's side, I'm not with u, be realistic, Dude. ;)

If Yao were offered to Miami for Wade, they would do it in a heart beat.

All they need to do is to trade Shaq for a perimeter star like Pierce and Miami is set to challenge for years to come with Yao-Pierce-White Chocolate and supporting pieces.

Shaq's years are numbered and Miami's window in championship run will be officially closed after 2006.

It was a semi-intelligent discussion between you and Yallmean until you pulled the YOF crap. Next time try to win a dabate without resort to labelling. It's weak.

Nope. The current Yao is the best post player in the whole league. The only players that I can argue that are better than Yao (now) are Lebron and Kobe.

However, if I were to factor in Yao's progress in the next two years, I will say that Yao is likely to be #1 or #2 in the league along with Lebron.

Take into consideration of field goal percentage, FT shooting percentage, ability to draw double and triple teams, the impact on the defensive end, there is no way that KG is better than Yao right now.

Who leads the league in overall efficiency after the ASG? It's not KG or Dirk, or Marion, or Lebron, or Kobe.

And for those people who still believe that stamina is a big issue for Yao, he has been averaging 37.5 min/game since ASG.

As a Yao fan, I still cannot see the reason that Miami would trade Wade for Yao. They just invested 1 BILLION for a 5 yr Shaq, not 2 or 3 years.

Yes, shaq is old, but he can still dominate 80% of the centers in the league. In the years to come, he is still top 3 centers.

I would not trade Wade for ANYBODY if I am the owner of Heats. NOT KOBE  .

Don't take the wrong way..without considering the age difference. Rightnow trade yao for KG is still not a bad move. cause we both know Tmac+KG also will bring the Champion to us.
Rightnow all i can say is that these two are on the same level now.(and yao will only get better)

I doubt it. Yao > KG. Yao's younger, has more years left in the league, etc. Yao will be a beast (more than he already is) in this league soon I'm guessing. KG only has 5-6 more seasons approximately, while Yao has like 10...

You can't trade Yao for anyone, not at this point. Good thing we never did, I'm so glad. If we had done this deal, I don't know where we'd be, or if Yao would have ever "matured" like he has, but I'm just so happy to look at Houston box scores again because there is a double-double waiting nightly in Yao Ming.

Yao Ming, Tracy McGrady, and a better supporting cast should easily bring championships to Houston. I hope we get the supporting cast we need...it might take a couple seasons.

Why all of a sudden cluthfans has a whole different look. Maybe there should be a filter function available for reading. It's not even funny.

You know what I'm talking about.
