Just because Yao doesn't act like a douche doesn't mean he's not competitive. If he's so lacking in competitiveness, please explain to me why everyone who's ever played with or coached the guy says he's the hardest working player they know.
At least Kobe can back up his arrogance. When the big games are on the line, he's the one who takes (and makes) the big shots. KG shrinks in the biggest moments. If he didn't have a clutch player like Pierce as a teammate, he would still be ring-less.
he is more than cocky - he is a fake tough guy - sticking his jaw out on the sidelines or taunting players during games (for which he should get a tech, but he never does). he is a bully b/c he tries to pick on players smaller or whiter than him and he is a p***y b/c he backs down when they come back at him. i dont know how anyone can respect or defend his childish antics. i posted the malone pic to demonstrate the being one of the greatest power forwards ever and a being total douchebag are not mutually exclusive.

yea you gotta be kidding me...i dont see what rocket fans should have against a player who dominates games as much as Garnett does...and i dont see how someone can hate him either..his passion and focus and DEFENSE is what wins championships...i love my rockets but ill take him over scola any day of the week..period..Garnett is a Hall of Famer
Because he only dominates smaller players. He has a tendency to shrink away from players his size or disappear completely. He is a bully. When there's a scuffle on court, he's all over a smaller player. Let a player almost his size stand up to him and he becomes a champion back peddler. It is so funny to watch those clips.
This season he can't even stay in fron of Harrington. I know he made a game winner but I belive anybody in the NBA can make a wide open 20 foot jumper even on an injured leg. He can't run. He was limping the entire overtime. Harrington was blowing right by him as only he wanted.

KG the player is great. But he makes me laugh when he constantly tries to bully smaller than him....then runs away from McDyess or lets Shaq slam him like a broad and does nothing....
Wow. You might want to consider looking up your basketball history, because that's almost as dumb as thinking Kobe is better than Jordan. And trust me there are idiots out there in that believe that Kobe is better than Jordan, typically those who ride his jockstrap. Kobe's not even a Top 10 player of all-time yet, Probably 11th.
