A lot of mocks have Youboty falling to the 2nd round now so I hope the Texans are not trying to trade up to get him.

I would like to see the Texans get Carpenter. This team desperately needs a strongside LB.

They must be targeting a CB or LB if they have any interest in moving up. There will be some quality OTs in the second and maybe the third.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say it is for a CB.

    Come home Ashton.

What are the chances the Texans could end up with Lendale White now that we know Bush will not be a Texan, and White is expected to go late 1st round, early 2nd?

Even if the Texans move into the first round and pick up a pick, they still should have gotten some value for their pick. The texans could have gotten Mario at pick 4-6.

Bob Allen just reported on Channel 13 that the Texans are trying to package their 2nd and 4th Rd. picks to trade with Bears and move up into the 1st Rd.

Pretty much everyone had the Saints taking him at #2.

I'm OK with that. We would basically be giving up a 4th round pick in order to have 2 picks in the 1st round. Works for me.

EDIT: Wait a minute, the Bears had a good season last year. Won't their pick be towards the bottom of the 1st round?

    I think it's the 26th pick

So instead of getting one Trojan RB we get the other Trojan RB. Works out fine for me.

Oh that's just what we need to do, trade more picks such as in years past. Maybe we will find our next Babin by doing so. This team is a laughing stock.

Yep you can say that again. You can put these idiots in the same class as the Lions, Browns, and Saints. I wasn't a VY fan but when you pass up on him and Bush to do this is amazing. I hope Bush and VY turn out to be pro bowlers so they can see how stupid they were to pass up on them.

I don't have a big problem passing on Bush for Mario if you think he's the better player.

But trading up for another rb? wtf? The texans still have holes to fill and they already have a rb.

Either Kubiak doesn't believe in DD or houston is trying to "make up" for passing on Bush.

I think the earlier report stating that the Texans staff was watching game film of potential running backs was smokescreen. If they trade up, I see them going after a DB or OL.

That's exactly right. They aren't going to draft a running back that high after passing on Bush.

The bad thing is they give up that first pick on the second day. Ugh.
