It's KFC in a Muslim dominated area. If they realize they are wasting money by carrying pork in their inventory then why shouldn't they cut it? At the end of the day making money is more American than anything you just said. And I doubt he would have attacked anyone. The guy lost his cool.

I don't think I would appreciate being recorded by someone I don't know and then have God-knows-what done with the video afterward. That being said, I probably would have excused myself and gone back to the kitchen, or break room, or office...anywhere out of sight. My guess is that the employee was egged-on and the customer got the footage they were trying to illicit.
Franchises wanna make money not a statement. In some parts of India, there are all-veg McDonalds. All over Middle East, places like Pizza Hut, Subway, etc. have pepperoni, sausage, bacon, but its always beef. Damn good too. I believe Starbucks in China have as many different types of teas as coffees/lattes. So yeah its always based on geography.
Yup...very correct. Even Coke changes it recipes based on geography because tastes are different all over the world. These companies are in it to make money and will make any adjustments needed to insure revenues.

You do realize that it is not aimed at Muslims, there are a lot of cultures that think pig meat is unclean.....it is ridiculous for all for all of them.
